"We loved our stay here and would recommend it for a couple of novelty nights. The treehouse is great for a family adventure, but do bear in mind the height and stairs. The location is beautiful and quiet in the middle of woodland. The treehouse is built around the tree (which grows through the room) and supported on stilts rather than harming the tree. It is a single room with double bed & single which coverts to bunk. A separate dry toilet is in a cubicle off the decking area. Shared cooking /...

"Nothing like the pictures when we booked. Very shabby accommodation. One indoor very crowded pool and No facilities on site, you have to go int Saumur which is a lovely city. You have to pay extra for bedding . Beds uncomfortable and furniture all very old. Definitely not worth the money. "

"More than most properties - Gille’s sprawling 16th, 17th and other centuries place will mould to your wishes. No heated pool for us and the games room remained quiet. But a wonderful maze with parking for only the Le Mans champs ( like myself). Everything is close and walkable."
