"The staff were nice! But we had to pay 20 euros for sheets and towels as they were not included with the room. This was not stated until after the booking was made. Also the beds were basically just sofas, not very comfortable. Cheap just for a night to sleep but I would not stay there for more than a night."

"Probably my favorite hotel stay ever! So well located, wedged between the St Pierre Cathedral and the Chateau Saumur, near loads of restaurants and shops. After a stressful drive from Bordeaux, what a relief to be welcomed by this front desk, our car parked for us. And our room: what a surprise! So elegantly decorated and spacious! The most comfortable bed I’ve ever experienced in any hotel. Decor that reflects the character of the area, with lovely toiletries, a tub and double sinks (!). We felt as if we were staying with a stylish friend, rather than a hotel. Breakfast provided a wide range of options in a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. Thanks for an awesome stay. I’ll gladly return next time I’m in the area!"
