"Family room unavailable at check in, so they separated us into 2 rooms. Both rooms red hot with no circulated air. Bathroom drains were horrific. The stench was awful. Smoke detectors were taped up.. Luckily we checked in late and left early as it was only a stop over. Can’t believe I missed the reviews. Would not stay here again. "

"We had a lovely week's holiday in this property despite poor weather - it is exactly as photographed. We all loved the table tennis in the basement, the g/kids also enjoyed playing hide and seek in such a quirky property. The dishwasher was a bonus and as there is a washing machine and tumble dryer, I even went home with clean clothes. We saw deer and a boar at the feeder near the lake.
