The Great Escape Cabin

Come get away as you enter a large open floor plan with vaulted ceiling, log fireplace, and the comforts you need for a mountain retreat there you will find the perfect space for gathering with family and friends. A functional kitchen with wooden cabinets, bar stool/breakfast counter, and Beautiful wood interior walls and floors throughout the cabin. Kitchen also has a beautiful wooden dinning table that can sit up to 8 people. Cabin has a total of 4 tvs with access to Roku TV, Netflix, Youtube and more, also step outside and enjoy a night on the hot tub that’s located on the deck.
This beautiful cabin is located near the following cites , attractions and restaurants.
Also in September thru the end of October come experience Oktoberfest in the city of Helen.
There is a Ring video placed by the front door outside the porch moitoring the entrance. This is installed for your safety and ours.

Great cabin for a couple of family!

Had a lot of fun checking out the waterfalls in the area. The cabin had a great hot tub and located in a quiet area. Great amenities too!

Beautiful cabin

We had an amazing time at the cabin. The location/property and the cabin were beautiful and peaceful, very well tucked away. We had a serine and relaxing few days hiking and exploring the area. The host was thoughtful and very helpful as well!

Wonderful cabin!

My mom and I stayed here with our two dogs for a week long getaway and we had a fantastic time! The cabin is beautiful and I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a cleaner rental! The floors were immaculately clean which is very impressive for a pet friendly cabin. It is also in a great location and the roads to the cabin are a lot of fun if you aren’t afraid of dirt roads! The neighborhood was wonderful for walking our dogs and we even found a little waterfall about a mile from the cabin.

Wonderful

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was incredible. Everyone loved it. We were close enough to Helen to enjoy all the Christmas festivities and then go back to a quiet place. Everything was “great”. Definitely would stay there again.

Great Cabin

Property is an excellent choice for a family getaway. We had 4 adults, 2 children, and 2 dogs; plenty of room for everyone. Due to the gravel narrow road into the property, arriving before dark is a good idea.Plenty of firewood available for use in the fireplace and outdoor firepit.

Perfect Family Cabin

We enjoyed our stay at the Great Escape Cabin. Location is a short drive to Helen, tubing, Anna Ruby Falls as well as various hiking trails. Located in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of privacy. Cabin was clean and had all basic necessities. Would highly recommend if you are looking for something close to attractions yet wanting an escape into the woods.

Great family getaway

We stayed here for a few days with our 6 & 3 year old children. Great house for a family with children. The kids loved the games and toys at the house & never got theirs out. The house was very clean inside and out. We highly recommend and our kids are already asking to go back to the “log cabin”!

Great property

The cabin was absolutely amazing, extremely clean on the inside, and very cozy. Me and my family had a fantastic time with our dog. Our only complaint is that the outside area required more attention, as it was covered in spiderwebs and leaves, showing that it has been a while since it was cleaned. We did not even use the outside due to this issue. The inside of the cabin was a 10/10 The outside of the cabin was 6/10

Nice cabin close to Helen

The cabin is cozy in a great location and exactly as described. The cabin can hold 9, but it was just my spouse and I. We thought the cleaning fee of $185 was steep for just two of us who used one bed and one bathroom. Still it was very nice. We could not find the lights to the back porch so it was tricky getting to and from the fire pit. We could have called the host who is very responsive based on other reviews. The games and amenities were great! You cannot burn any candles and although well stocked with battery powered candles, none of them worked probably because of dead batteries. Bring some button batteries or ask the host to refresh them. We recommend for a great stay. The fall colors were at peak, really great!

Great cabin with everything you would want and need. Very spacious interior and plenty of outdoor entertaining area. It was clean, updated with tvs, internet wifi, gaming entertainment and our favorite a nice hot tub. Would like to go back!

Everything was great! The cabin had everything we could need. Very clean, awesome hot tub. Once we figured out which entrance to use( North Gold Valley Road vs South Gold Valley) it was no problem getting in and out. Very enjoyable time. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin near Helen, GA. The location was convenient to both activities around Helen and a few hikes around Tallulah Falls. The cabin was clean, easy to access, quiet, and had the things that we needed. Our kids loved the foosball table and hot tub. Great cabin!

Pleasant stay. Be bear aware as bears are in the area. The cabin is located off grid a bit so expect to be on a gravel road to get to the cabin neighborhood where this is located. Overall great stay. Feedback for the owners: You could use some extra hooks to hang the towels inside.

We had a lovely time last week at The Great Escape cabin.

Beautiful location that felt quiet and secluded, as we wanted, but is just a few minute drive to Helen, restaurants and activities. The kitchen was very well stocked although we didn’t cook - we were on vacation! Loved the fire pit and the kids loved the hot tub and Pac-Man machine. Great experience.

Weekend Getaway

We really enjoyed the house and property. Beautiful location. Some neighbors, but very private. Loved the firepit outside, and fireplace inside. It snowed on Saturday, so that was bonus! Close to Helen. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful!!

Loved the cabin so very much, just be prepared for a gravel road that is bumpy and not good for a car or vehicle you don’t want to drive up steep gravel hills lol. The cabin was EXCEPTIONAL with everything g you need !! Thank you so much!!!
