"Everything was very nice, but it would have been nice to have hooks or bars to hang wet towels, or robes. Also, the curtains didn't close all the way only the sheers and it was a little bright in the morning Other than that it was a very nice stay. They did have a very nice selection for breakfast, bagels, eggs, sausage, pastries, cereal, a waffle maker etc"

"This newly renovated hotel captured the essence of the original structure, while providing chic accommodations. We had drinks at the bar and enjoyed talking to the bartender Michael, who told us more about local history. If you are staying in the area, this is the only place to stay."

"Older hotel, so even though everything was really clean, the room smelled damp and musty. Well maintained for an older building. No USB charging ports in the rooms. Breakfast was great - hot meal including waffles - much more than I was expecting for a "continental". A perfect stay for what I needed!"

"I would definitely go back to the Castleman. The room was larger than I expected, and the bed was comfortable. A yellowish stain on the mattress protector and a stain in the bottom of the bathtub were a bit unnerving, despite the rest of the room looking very clean. The amenities in the room included a microwave, Kurig, a small refrigerator, and a room air conditioner. The staff was friendly. I respect the restaurant being closed on Sunday, and will hopefully have a chance to return to try it in the future."

"Great stay- amazing breakfast! Room was very comfortable and clean. Staff was always available, but not intrusive- which was perfect. Visited the bookstore and the yarn store in town, and both were wonderful! We plan to come again."

"This house is very spacious for a large group of family and friends. Plenty of sitting and gathering areas. We were a group of 10 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Host was extremely attentive and responsive to all questions asked. Will definitely stay here again!"
