"It was a nice hidden affordable gem just steps from the beach! the property was well maintained and the best part was it was close to a local bar (recommend getting the small chicharrones) a breakfast place right behind and a market 2 minutes away walking, Eagle beach is only 15 mins away by car.11/10 would stay here again. Highly recommend if you are looking for basic amenities and want to get away from the touristy area. Local are very nice."

"This place was a home away from home. Simple and quaint!! Marie and John were wonderful host. They shared local favorites for restaurants and beaches. Told us where to snorkel with turtles and what were things we had to do while there. We suggest you rent a car as you are away from the tourist area but that is exactly what we wanted. The beach out front did not disappoint. You can still drive a short distance to get to all the hustle and bustle and the tourist attractions and then return back...

"The ability to cook breakfast and eat while viewing and hearing the ocean was incredible. Relaxing in the hammock and listening to music was a perfect way to end every day.The snorkeling equipment and kayaks were so much fun.Fiar gave the best restaurant recommendations with La tavola being our favorite. "This is a wonderful place to stay and the hosts so gracious. We have booked here 4-5 times and is directly on Mango Halto beach. There is a near by party store and food truck. Both San Nicholas and the resort area are near by, you will need a car and driving is easy. We particularly enjoy a more local feel and is quieter and less busy than the resort area. If you like to explore on your own, find local food, grill, fish, snorkel right out front, this place is for you don't hesitate."

Top Savaneta Hotel Reviews

Hotel Riu Palace Aruba - All Inclusive

10/10 Excellent

"The service in the hotel and restaurants was outstanding! AC in the rooms, hallways, elevators and restaurants should of been cooler."

Hotel Riu Palace Antillas - Adults Only - All Inclusive

10/10 Excellent

"What was unique, was that you needed your key card in the slot by the door to turn on the lights and the t.v. The buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner were excellent. The other restaurants on site should give you more options to choose from. The prices in the tradewind store are a bit outrageous, for snacks ($10 for bag of lays potato chips)."

Holiday Inn Resort Aruba - Beach Resort & Casino by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"For the price we paid, the Holiday Inn was a great resort! Very clean, beautiful beach and courtyard area. Staff was excellent. Why do the pools close at 7pm? And they take away the lounge chairs and stack them by 7. This is a bit early! Some of us enjoy a late night swim and a break from the relentless sun after dark. We had an extreme noise issue one night due to a pre-wedding party held at the beach bar (we had requested a quiet location) - they brought us a little charcuterie tray the next day, so that was nice at least (my husband they had a cart full of them, lol). Overall, we enjoyed it immensely and would stay here again. It is also in a PERFECT location."

Barceló Aruba - All Inclusive

10/10 Excellent

"Had a great one week stay at the Barcelo. Clean rooms, pleasant staff for the most part. The location can’t be beat. Right on Palm beach and across from a vibrant shop and food area. The food at the resort was okay, do not expect gourmet offerings and you will not be disappointed. Will be back."
