Mid-century Guest House Cottage on approximately 3-acre riverfront estate with access to a private dock on deep water for guests.

The “Boathouse” in its entirety has been rehabilitated with stunning, high-end appointments throughout boasting a deluxe master bedroom with en-suite bathroom upstairs; living room, modern kitchen and one-half bathroom downstairs. Outside areas include upstairs deck and downstairs patio, covered and uncovered.

Spend your time while visiting this gorgeous property by taking a stroll over the grounds, walking past the main house to the deep water dock. Observe the sea birds and wildlife or leisurely sit on the upstairs deck to watch the sun set through the old majestic oak trees. It’s truly magical!

Excellent stay!

Beautiful and cozy home to stay in. Very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Property is very nice and convenient location. Enjoyed eating breakfast outside in the morning and listening to all of the birds singing.

So Pampered!

From the moment we entered the home to softly playing jazz music and cozy lighting, we felt pampered, cozy, and comfortable. Impeccably clean and tastefully decorated! This spot was perfectly located between Savannah and Tybee Island in order to enjoy both. We would love to stay again!

The Boathouse was the best find for our 5 day getaway. Peaceful and private setting, yet minutes from the hustle and bustle of old Savannah. The entire stay from booking to leaving was perfect. Only wish we could have stayed longer.

We absolutely fell in love with the Boathouse! One of the cleanest and most charming places we have stayed. Perfect location for those that like beautiful scenery outside the city but a short drive or uber into downtown. We will definitely be back!

This is our 3rd time staying at the Cottage on Whitemarsh Island and we've loved it every time! Very peaceful & quiet location and convenient to Tybee Beach and Savannah. Brian & Patsi are wonderful hosts and easy to work with. We'll probably stay here again, should we ever be back to Savannah!!

Lovely boathouse!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights while vacationing in Savannah. It is a lovely house, very clean, neat and organized. My husband really loved the stereo and sound system. :) Google maps will not get you there so we are thankful for the hosts clear instructions on how to find the place. Great place to get away outside the city, but still very close to Savannah and the surrounding areas including Tybee. Highly recommend staying here. Perfect for a getaway for 2.

Beautiful property!

We so enjoyed our stay at the Boathouse and will definitely return to this house! The layout is perfect for a couple and the setting is beautiful. The owners were thorough in their communication and were accessible if needed. The location is perfect as it is halfway between downtown Savannah and Tybee Island.

Boat House

Great location, super cute, very clean, only issue we had was we wanted to kayak however owner had put them away for the season. We were looking forward to kayaking the water ways, being from Minnesota we are very use to kayaking in cooler weather. Other than that we had a great time.cooler

Outstanding stay at the Boathouse

From the moment we walked in the door until our final day, everything at the Boathouse was perfect. The furnishings were beautiful, the bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was amazing, and the kitchen was better well equipped than mine. We spent most evenings on the dock which the owners graciously allow their guests to use. Speaking of the owners, Brian and Patsie were so nice and quickly got back to us when we had a question. We were so glad we found this adorable Boathouse and hope to stay here again in the future!
