Savannah Manor - Incredible Historic Mansion

Fantastic Victorian mansion, hosted by Savannahmanor. Just 2 blocks off beautiful Forsyth Park. The house is situated in the Historic District of Savannah and is about a fifteen minute walk to the river thru scenic streets and squares. Restored to original condition, this house is filled with unique woodwork, original stained glass windows, original floors and moldings. . Enter into large historic foyer which will bring you back to the late 1800s. Parlor level includes living room, dining room, kitchen, butler's pantry, Sitting Room and powder room. Beautiful kitchen is complete with new oven, range, microwave, two dishwashers, butler's pantry and fireplace. The dining room table seats ten guests. The original grand staircase takes you to the living quarters where you will find meticulously restored bedrooms, each with its own charm. Two bedrooms have king and two have queen beds Two have private baths and two share a Jack and Jill style full bathroom. The Attic level has a large bedroom with queen bed as well as a bathroom with freestanding copper tub, Down the hall is a Full Fulton, The game has a poker table, and chess/checkers table. The Theatre TV room has a Full Trundle bed (Two full Beds). The attic loft in TV room has another queen bed. (Ladder access) Gas fireplaces are located thru-out the house. Large double decks overlook the beautifully designed side yard with walkways and fountain. This home was designed by William Preston Gibbons, a renowned architect recognized for designing many of the most notable buildings in Savannah. This home is one of the more unique in a very unique town. Bedrooms are very large and spacious. The house is very open and spacious and is filled with much natural light.
Perfect vacation rental that can accommodate families, and large groups. We have 3 King Beds, 3 Queen Beds, Trundle Bed with Two Fulls. Full Futon, Queen Cot with Foam Mattress as sleeping options. Queen Convertable Sleeper in sitting room/office. Twin convertable Chair in a bedroom. A stay at the Judge Harden's House will make your stay in HIstoric Savannah that much more memorable. Less then one minute walk to Kroger Supermarket with Starbucks inside.

Spectacular property

I booked this property for my sister’s 50th birthday celebration on St Patty’s day. The house was the perfect central point for the celebration. There was some confusion on the number of rooms but Michael worked with us and it all worked out perfectly. A well maintained house with all the historic charm.

Beautiful home in a great location

The pictures reflect the home. It is beautiful and well stocked for a large group. We had many laughs rocking on the porch. Michael was very responsive and assisted us with last minute requests. We are grateful for that. Only regret - I wish we hired the in home chef he recommended. That would have made for a nice at-home evening. Highly recommend this home.

Beautiful historic mansion

Our family of 10 adults stayed here for a weekend wedding. The location was perfect! Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. We loved all of the dramatic interior touches that you find in old houses.

Celebration of Life

A group of us long term friends from Connecticut, Texas and California met in Savannah to celebrate the life of our wonderful friend Martha. It was a very healing weekend with love, laughter and friendship. The house (mansion) is so lovely and was the perfect place for us to get together.

Great group experience

We had seven ladies.(originally scheduled to be 9) stay at this magnificent old home. It has all the modern conveniences and we actually were able to sleep without doubling up in any room. I have never seen a rental so well stocked in the kitchen. If we forgot something, it was certainly there. We walked to shopping and appreciated the offstreet parking, etc.Easy fast communication and simple entry code.

Holiday Savannah trip

This was an amazing mansion! There were six of us that stayed, found a murder mystery game in their game room that had all the parts and we were able to have a murder mystery dinner while we were there, so much fun! Communication with the host was fantastic as we needed him for several things. Note, if you are driving an electric vehicle charging, it can be a challenge in that area!

Girls trip!

We had a wonderful time! The house was great, lots of space to spread out. There were 6 of us ladies from Vero Beach. Everyone had their own room. I loved the upstairs tv room to get away from all the commotion downstairs. The grocery store across the street was convenient. Location was good. There was a little road noise outside but that is our only complaint. House had everything we needed and was comfortable.

Great for the entire family!

Our extended family of 12 had a great stay and enjoyed exploring a new part of Savannah to us. Forsyth Park was beautiful and within a quick walking distance. And having the grocery store next door was so convenient.

Wonderful property

The house is absolutely beautiful. Location is great. Right next to a Kroger and a couple of blocks down from Forsyth Park. The stairs are a bit of a challenge, however we knew ahead of time the old house in the historic area would not have elevators. Michael was an outstanding host, always willing to have us call if we needed help.

Charming Home and Wonderful Stay

Our group of nine girlfriends had a wonderful stay at this home. It was the perfect location for walking to and from downtown, plenty of rooms and bathrooms for everyone to be comfortable and all the character of a Savannah home. We would absolutely stay there again.

A Wonderfully Unique Stay!

11 of us stayed at the house for my bachelorette party and we had a blast. The house is comfortable, yet interesting and unique. It’s close to everything! It’s got charm and functionality. I cannot recommend this place enough!
