Our 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home near the scenic Herb River features fresh updates and is just a short walk from the dock and river access. With a fully stocked kitchen and a living room equipped with Roku and a sleeper sofa, it's perfect for families making sweet Savannah memories. We're only 8.5 miles from downtown Savannah, and a scenic 30-minute drive takes you to beautiful Tybee Island. We provide both professional and real-time photos from our cleaning team, so you know what to expect. We can't wait to host you!
Welcome to "Royal Aubergine"! Part of the Retro Rainbow homes on the Herb River. Our gravel driveway is located directly in front of our home and offers parking for up to three cars. Once inside, you will find a cozy living room with a queen-size sleeper sofa, a large flat-screen TV complete with Roku, and ample seating for everyone in the group! Off the living room, you will find the kitchen which has everything you need to settle in and feel "at home," as well as a dining room with seating for 6. As you continue through the home, you will find four bedrooms. Bedrooms #1 and #2 both have queen size beds. Bedroom #3 is perfect for the kids with two full beds (the washer and dryer can be found in this room as well) and bedroom #4 has a king-size bed. Our home also offers guests two full bathrooms with showers. We have a community game area outside with a great deal of seating and a grill. It also consists of different games such as volleyball, corn hole, ladder toss, and more!
For dock access, walk across the street. There is a little parking lot with a Patriot Family Homes sign between the condos and the orange duplex. By the water, there is a metal gate leading to a long double-decker dock. Please fill out the dock waiver to receive the gate code.
Pets welcome with fee.

Our stay was enjoyable! Plenty of amenities and the location was perfect! Could have used another roll or two of toilet paper but overall we would return!
The location was perfect for us. We were there for a swim meet & we were close to grocery stores.
It was mostly clean, but kind of old and dingy which didn’t come through in the pictures.

I was there for Savannah State Homecoming and while I was there for my stay it was not a pleasant stay because both bathrooms had dead bugs the refrigerator did not work so I had to replace 2 insulin pens and had to place all my food in a coolers so it would not go bad (Fish, chicken, rib’s, hamburgers ,hot dogs etc.). No broom or dust pan in the house only a mop and the disappointing part is no one was sent out check the refrigerator or gave any insight on what could be done. Amara

The listing online is fairly accurate, and the home does reflect the photos.
The home was clean. And the beds were comfortable as well.
There was plenty of towels, pots, pans, plates, utensils, available for my family of 4.
Having access to the dock, that was about a .25 mile walk away, was a wonderful bonus.
There were a few areas of improvement that I emailed the owners about afterwards.
One thing to take note of is that the second smaller bathroom that is pink in the photos has a very narrow and drab shower area. Our family couldn’t use that shower space. The larger bathroom area with the tub/shower combo was utilized by everyone.
I loved that the home had a large dining table.
I felt safe on the property.

Not what I thought
My idea of a professional managed property and what we stayed in was completely different. To start with the house was not clean to professional standards. My daughter's socks where black within 10 min of unpacking, the baby with us had black hands and legs from crawling on the floor. The rug in the living room was full of crumbs, rug in dining area had holes with pieces sticking up to trip on. One of the couches was missing a mattress for the pull-out, so sitting on the couch was un comfortable, the temperature in the house never got below 70 degrees and that was overnight. Temperature was 79 throughout the day. I could go on and on. Long story short I feel the property was not up to I guess my opinion of what a professionally manager property should be. The road to the property was absolutely ridiculous with the amoint of pot holes and missing chunks. However management was contacted and some issues handled, but again things that if property was managed properly all could have been avoided.

Aufgrund der guten Bewertungen haben wir uns für diese Objekt entschieden. Allerdings war für uns das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis nicht stimmig. Wir hatten sowohl in Sevilla wie auch Jerez für einen deutlich geringeren Preis durchaus mehr Qualität. Um etwas Positives zu nennen, der Kontakt mit Ana war sehr nett und entgegenkomment. Zu den leider überwiegend negativen Punkten.... die ausgewiesene Klimaanlage gab es nicht. Stattdessen 2 Ventilatoren. Davon einer defekt und einer, im Schlafzimmer, nur im niedrigen Modus zu verwenden, da er sonst aus der Decke zu kippen drohte. Die Handtücher im Bad von schlechter Qualität. Das Bett für unseren Geschmack sehr unbequem. Die Terrasse ungepflegt und ein reiner Bretterverschlag mit Blick auf die kaputten Fassaden. Auch hätte erwähnt werden sollen, dass sich die Wohnung in einem regulärem Wohngebäude befindet. Die Wohnung im 2.Stock über einen engen Treppenaufgang zu erreichen und das mit Koffern. Das Schlafzimmerfenster ging direkt auf den Hausflur, somit konnte man auch nicht mit geöffneten Fenster schlafen.Jeder bekommt alles von jedem mit. Seien es nächtliche Telefonate und Schnarchen der Nachbarn oder einfach nur das übliche Kommen und Gehen. Leider war auch der Geruch in der Wohnung nicht gerade angenehm. Sicherlich handelt es sich hier um ein altes Gebäude aber der Aufenthalt war für uns nicht so wie wir es gewünscht hätten und der Zustand der Wohnung nicht einwandfrei.
