Built in 1861, this charming row home is located on a quiet street in the Historic District. This spacious one bedroom getaway is perfect for a couple looking to explore the rich history of Savannah, or a traveling single.

The living room offers a plush sofa, arm chair and flat screen television, perfect for those who have their own Netflix or Hulu accounts! Adjacent to the living room, a dedicated dining space to enjoy home-cooked meals, or catch up on work while away. Down the hall, guests will find the spacious and open kitchen that offers granite countertops, plenty of prep space and a full size washer/dryer thats tucked away. At the back of the home just outside of the bedroom, a roomy bathroom with vanity and shower/tub combination. The bedroom offers a comfortable king size bed, hotel grade linens and a television atop of the dresser.

This landmark home built for Noble Hardee in 1861 is perfectly situated to explore Savannah’s historic district. This fully renovated cottage has everything you’ll need to enjoy your getaway. The Honey Bee Cottage is in an excellent location-a short walk to Troup Square, the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist and historic Jones Street, voted one of the prettiest streets in the United States! A short drive or walk puts you on either Broughton Street or River Street where shopping and dining abound-it truly is the ideal location from which to explore Savannah.

Location, location, location!

We enjoyed our stay in Honeybee Cottage. The location is excellent and within walking distance to downtown attractions. The free on-street parking is an added bonus! We would definitely stay here again.

Thanksgiving Trip

Enjoyed Thanksgiving weekend with my husband. The house is very cute, clean and meets all basic needs. This location is in the historic district making it close to all the popular places that a tourist would visit. The parking is free and is out the front door on the street. Convenient and safe. I would stay here again.

Great home not great bed

We loved the home. It was larger than we thought, very well maintained and in a great location. We would have loved a bed with a headboard as the bed kept moving away from the wall in the night and we would lose our pillows. Overall a great stay!

Away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to walk through the historical side of Savannah on our way to downtown and the Riverfront District. No fee parking was an added bonus. Perfect spot for a quick getaway

Everything we wanted and needed out of a place to stay for a few days. We were in town for a wedding, but both had to work remotely some. There was plenty of space at the table to set up our computers, the wifi was great, we got things done and then were steps away from a lot of amazing Savannah locations- we walked the parks, we walked to the downtown district, we brunched, held hands, all that cheesy wonderful stuff. Our stay was great, very clean and very convenient!

Really enjoyed our stay. It was very clean which is definitely a plus. If you go be sure to take extra washcloths. There were only 2, we were there a week. Had to buy some. The only major complaint I had was the bed, on one side it was almost like a “hole”. Once you sunk into it , you could barely turn over. Would stay there again…

What I didn't like were the cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom were noisy when you close them. The tiles in the bathroom were rundown. The sofa in the living room was worn out. What I liked was that the cottage had so much character and the neighborhood was quiet and safe.

Located in a nice residential neighborhood in walking distance to a supermarket, coffee shops, restaurants and lovely squares. Actually, we walked to all the sites in the historic district. The property is very spacious, clean and very comfortable with a small porch, great to have coffee or a glass of wine. It feels like home. We would return and. Recommend it to family and friends

Overall nice place in a good location

I thought this was a very nice property. It’s in good location and we had no problem with finding free street parking. I thought the images were almost exact as what the actual property looked like except for a new couch & not a chair at the vanity area in the bedroom. I think the floors could use a more thorough cleaning as they were a little dirty. We received more than enough linens for our stay which is always nice. Like other reviews the couch is probably the most uncomfortable couch I’ve experienced, but the bed mattress was quite comfy. The location of this home is quite convenient if you are okay with walking to most places.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There is a long list of pros and cons about this rental. The main pros: location and size. The main cons: the bed was absolutely awful. Loud and uncomfortable and one side kept sliding around. My partner kept waking up in the cracks of the two low quality mattresses they pushed together and are calling a king. Also, the sheets, curtains, couch, etc. had stains on them and it made me feel uncomfortable sleeping in the bed in the first place. I ended up using my own blanket I had brought. Lastly, the wifi must be in one of the buildings nearby, so, you're lucky if you get a connection at all. Don't plan on being able to work from home here. Honestly, I could keep going, but I'll just say this: please invest in a new bed, a new couch, a wifi range extender, and a tv that isn't so old the saturation is wwack. I know you can afford it if you're charging almost $900 for a four night stay.

Honeybee Charmer/ Compromising Bed

So much so, that my husband and I had to try and sleep on one side together. As soon as you laid on the right side, you sunk down into a hole and the metal frame bed was very uncomfortable because of that. He woke up with a back ache every morning. Also, the Wi-Fi is lacking. However, conveniently located, cute cafes nearby, and loved having a washer/dryer. Would love to stay there again, but bed needs to be changed.

It would have been nice to have a few more amenaties - a bedside stand and table lamp onn the right side of the bed, at least one luggage stand, and a few coffee filters for the coffee maker in the kitchen. The cone-shaped filters that were available don't fit the coffee maker which requires basket-shaped filters.

This would comfortably suit two. We were very at home at the Honeybee cottage. Really loved the fully stocked kitchen we cooked most of our meals there. Appreciated the laundry facility to keep all our clothes and towels clean. The location is phenomenal. We had a great time. Would stay here again!!
