The Space:
Built in 1897, this Victorian Era home has been completely redone into a spectacular home away from home. When entering on the ground floor, guests will be enchanted by the period gas lanterns and lush landscaping that flank the front of the home.
Upstairs, in the Parlor/2nd floor, you will be welcomed by an abundance of natural light from all windows surrounding the home. The historic hardwood floors, original molding and architectural details have been preserved beautifully. The décor has been artfully curated by the owner, accented by natural aesthetics. Sisal rugs, an abundance of plants, antique and modern touches add elegance and sophistication.
The chef’s kitchen offers a full array of Thermador appliances which include a professional 36” gas stove with griddle & oven, 30” refrigerator/freezer, Scotsman gourmet clear ice machine, wine fridge, beverage fridge, microwave drawer, a countertop Breville toaster oven & toaster, and a Cuisinart pod-coffee maker. The sink has a reverse-osmosis room temperature and boiling water filtration system. The kitchen is completely equipped for all your dining needs.
Off the kitchen is a large outdoor terrace, equipped with a 32” professional Turbo gas grill and a gas fire pit. There is plenty of comfy seating to relax and enjoy the continual Southern breeze, neighborhood sounds of church bells, horses clomping, ships’ horns and views of fireworks from the bay during the holiday seasons!
The elegant dining room seats six comfortably and is connected to a spacious and comfortable living room with books, games and a Roku TV. There is also a powder bath next to the kitchen, designed with intricate Carrara marble tile.
Up on the 3rd Floor, in the parlor landing there is a private game table, for those interested in a game of chess, checkers, or backgammon. There is also a sofa chair you can use to read, lounge or work on your laptop.
The primary suite features a Ralph Lauren inspired king size bed with a new mattress, luxury cotton linens, chaise and a large desk. The en-suite bathroom has a marble vanity with two sinks and a large walk-in shower. The spacious primary closet includes a full-size washer/dryer.
The 2nd bedroom faces the front of the home with 2 full size beds, also with new mattresses and luxury cotton linens. There is a chair and ottoman for relaxing under the bespoke artwork made with local flora. This room has a closet and dresser for plenty of storage as well as a small desk for private moments to write or work.
Located between Columbia & Greene Squares, Shain Manor is on the corner of York & Price Street. We are about 3 blocks from Colonial Park Cemetery, and an easy 5-minute walk to River Street. The retail mecca of Broughton Street is only 4 blocks; we are centrally located and walkable to all the hot spots!

Everything was clean. The whole place was decorated beautifully and every little detail was well thought out. I have never stayed in a rental that had such a well stocked kitchen. I wish we had stayed longer so we would have had time to cook and use everything. I would definitely recommend staying here.
503 E York Street was just as nice as the photos. Plenty of room for 4 adults, comfy beds and couches and very clean. Whimsical touches throughout made it homey and welcoming. Bit of a walk to coffee and restaurants but a relaxing neighborhood.
We LOVED our stay at this historic home in the heart of Savannah! easy check in, responsive property manager, fully stocked kitchen, live plants everywhere including pots full of fresh herbs. Easy walking distance to several restaurants. Loved the outdoor spaces. We cannot wait to return and will have to stay longer next time.
This is a historic home that is absolutely beautiful. One of the nicest places I have stayed at. It was comfortable and had a homey feel to it. It had everything we needed and more! The location was within walking distance of everything. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Savannah!
Beautiful property - fully updated with lovely historic decor. Rooms are spacious, with plenty of closet space. Kitchen is beautiful, with plenty of amenities. The outdoor balcony is perfect for taking in the street view, while the patio is secluded for enjoying the beautiful weather. Location is close to downtown and the riverfront, and we were able to find free parking outside the unit almost every day. Will definitely stay here again when we come back. Enjoyed every minute of our stay.
This is one of the nicest vacation rentals I have ever stayed in and I travel A LOT. High end everything, gorgeous historic completely remodeled updated flat in a safe and quiet neighborhood walking distance to the river, downtown, tons od restaurants and shops. The beds, linens, and furniture were super high quality and the kitchen is well stocked to cook. The property manager is lovely and very responsive. 10/10 recommend. The pictures are exactly what its like or better. I hope to stay here again !
This house was so warm and cozy. Even the snow and ice on the ground couldn't dampen the long weekend stay. The owners thought of everything and it was incredibly comfortable and inviting. We didn't use the kitchen but I almost want to come back just to cook a few meals. The local was perfect (walking distance to everything) and nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Only downside would be the two sets of stairs. Not a big deal for our group but could be an obstacle for others. We were able to park on the street right in front of the property as well. I highly recommend this property. You will love it.
This historic home was perfect for my family of 4 with 1 king and 2 full sized beds for 20 daughters. Beds and furniture are super comfortable throughout the home and the gorgeous kitchen has more than any cook needs including cookware, spices, teas and coffee. Plenty of space to spread out, and though we did not get to use the rooftop deck because of rain and timing, it too, provides an outdoor space of your own. Location was close and easy walking everywhere in the historic district and even some free parking right outside if you get lucky. Definitely some creaky floorboards upstairs, but a small price to pay for such a comfortable stay. Beautiful touches throughout allow me to recommend to my most posh friend. This is a keeper!
We stayed in this beautiful home for 3 nights. Two couples in Savannah for a long weekend. The townhouse is a beautiful, well appointed home. It was very well stocked with anything you might need & we felt it was very clean. All the decorationis were high end & well done. It does not feel like a rental.I would stay again with just my spouse & kids, but not with another couple. The 2nd full bath is outside the master bedroom. The couple staying in the other bedroom had to walk across a creaky floor to get to their bathroom. The old floors are beautiful, & add to the charm. They are fine during the day, but not if you have people that have to get up in the middle of the night.
Full of elegant southern charm, this house had every amenity anyone could want!The location makes for a very easy walk to River Street, and a 15 minute drive to Tybee Island beaches.

The curated details of every room is very special and you will appreciate all of the attention and care that was given to this wonderful home.
This property was gorgeous - well appointed, had everything we needed and more. A great location, decorated impeccably - the photos do not do it justice. It was comfortable and elegant, everything so thought out. We loved the outdoor space - sitting amongst the herbs and garden plants - listening to quiet horse tours and reveling in the blessings of friendship.
