A real gem!

The house exceeded our expectations! The home was great and it reallyIs on the most beautiful street anywhere, and location was perfect. Beyond that, our hosts were very helpful and kind, and extremely responsive! If you are traveling to Savannah, you should stay here!!!

Beautiful home and courtyard, that 3 couples enjoyed for a 5 day trip. Great location near shops, restaurants, historic site. The private parking was a huge bonus!

Couples Savannah Trip

Wonderful time and couldn't have asked for a better location. We preplanned our excursions and all the places we wanted to go and do beforehand. Everything was within a 20 minute walk from the home which is critical because the parking at all the locations would have been extremely difficult. All 3 couples have nothing but good to say about the residence.

A Savannah gem

I cannot say enough good things about this property and the property owner/manager. The accommodations are beautiful and well located. Check in and check out was simple. The furniture was comfortable, the kitchen well stocked. We wanted for nothing. I highly recommend this property.

Our group of five women had a delightful stay at this property. The location is ideal--easy walking distance to downtown but on a quiet street. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well-stocked for our needs. The courtyard is lovely. It would benefit from a little more lighting for nighttime use.

Friends Get Together

House was just as advertised. it was a lovely old house with squeaky (in a good way) floors that was in an excellent location. We were able to walk everywhere. Garden is a lovely spot to sit, chat and have a glass of wine. Francis was quick to respond to any question. It was a lovely week.

Great Location

We loved staying here on our recent trip to Savannah. The house is well located if you like to stroll around and explore. Having three king sized beds and three bathrooms made this a perfect place for our three couples. Thank you for providing such a lovely spot for our mini college reunion.

The home is very convenient, well equipped, clean, comfortable along with the availability of parking. The beds were very comfortable, with extra blankets as needed. The owners were able to get us into the property earlier than plan which was wonderful!

Charming weekend

We enjoyed staying at this beautiful historic house on Jones Street. The location is perfect for walking to restaurants, shopping, and parks. The house was clean with so much historic charm including a beautiful courtyard. Would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Savannah.

The house and property were beautiful. It was a perfect location, as well. Really enjoyed the courtyard. Also, parking was a breeze both in front and behind the house.There are a lot of stairs, however, towing luggage doesn’t happen each time you climb the stairs, thankfully!!!

Beautiful place!

We absolutely adored this rental. Perfect location and so beautiful. This place was pristine and quiet. The owners are so helpful as well. We went with two other couples and hope to return. The beds are so comfortable! All three couples commented on the comfort of the beds. By far, my favorite stay in Savannah!

Beautiful and Convenient!

This is a lovely home and the owner is helpful and accommodating. It has a beautiful courtyard. It is situated on a quiet, beautiful street that is filled with lush landscaping. It is close to everything in the Historic District.

A Perfect Place in the South Historic District

Our stay was perfect in every way. Three couples shared three king bedrooms and three baths in one of the lovliest neighborhoods in Savannah. The neighborhood is quiet, the streets are tree-lined and hung with Spanish moss. Parking was never a problem. The house is nicely appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed the courtyard during the afternoons and played games at the kitchen table each evening. Francis and Emerson hit a perfect balance between history and comfort in their place without sacrificing either. They were also attentive to be certain we had everything we needed. We will defiitely return.

Lovely house in Historic Savannah

In Savannah for the weekend, we really enjoyed the house. Whether relaxing in the lovely and peaceful garden or walking to restaurants nearby, the location was ideal and we felt like we were in the heart of this lovely old city. The house is lovingly decorated with strong elements of old Southern charm as well as some more modern elements (kitchens and bathrooms). We will be back!

Jones Street Heaven

Perfect location for Savannah- walking or driving. The garden in the back was great for breakfast and afternoon drinks. The furniture was lovely with comfy beds.There are stairs. Francis is an excellent host with good recommendations for everything Savannah. Hope to be back next year.

Great Getaway for Three Couples

We were three couples on the trip to Savannah, looking for the perfect place to stay, and we found it. The location was magnificent. Once we parked our cars in the car port, which was available throughout our stay, we went everywhere on foot. Our host recommended a myriad of activities we could participate in, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We loved hanging out in the large seating area. On our last night, we decided to order in and have dinner in the large eat-in, kitchen area, which was fabulous. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had, and we would highly recommend her. Great experience all around.

Charming Historical Home

This home was everything advertised and more! The history and charm of this well maintained home added so much to our trip to Savannah. The updates to the home’s amenities were spot on, and the host was very responsive to any questions I had. If you want to experience history of this city, along with the modern conveniences….this home is 100% it. This home is so walkable to Forsyth Park, the Basilica and Bay/Broughton street, you are truly in the heart of it all!!

Savannah Wedding Trip

The Historic Home was beautifully furnished and the location was centrally located. The courtyard was exquisite and such a wonderful place to relax whether in the morning or late afternoon. The bedrooms were furnished with higher quality linens which made the night’s end feel more like home. For an older home we expected to have a limited amount of hot water but was pleasantly surprised that we never had that issue. Communication from the host was immediate and thoughtful with periodic check ins to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Will definitely book again!

A quick weekend in Savannah

The home was lovely with great church bells, walkable to many parks and restaurants. The courtyard was just getting replanted for early spring. Enjoyed the fountains, comfortable beds and ability to sit together after a long day of touring. A few suggestions to accommodate these transitional seasons: have extra blankets, some directions on thermostat setting from chilly to warmth and a few more towels, guest book and laminated details. Felt bad about having to call, but Francise was more than helpful. Took a colorful flier of other places hosted by you for future trips.
