Tucked perfectly under the Spanish moss of towering live oaks, a short walk to Forsyth Park, you will have downtown Savannah at your finger tips. Relaxed and friendly accommodations for small groups, couples, and business travelers, etc. A large front porch for lounging, and private parking, and a private fenced in back yard! Literally minutes from everything awesome, quirky, and lovely in Savannah!

Simple yet elegant space which exudes the relaxed atmosphere of living in Savannah's Victorian District. A short walk to Forsyth Park, and Kroger is just 2 blocks away for stocking up on supplies. All of downtown is in walking distance, and mere moments away with a $5 Uber.

  • Designed by John S. Norris for General Hugh Weedon Mercer, construction of the house began in 1860. Construction was interrupted by the American Civil War, and finally completed around 1868 by the new owner, John Wilder. In 1913, a previous owner tripped over the second floor banister, fractured his hip, and suffered a concussion, dying three days later. In 1964, a boy chasing pigeons on the roof fell over the edge and impaled himself on the iron fence below.
