Featuring original touches, high ceilings, a large galley kitchen, and a private second-floor patio, the apartment provides a spacious and comfortable retreat in the heart of Savannah’s historic downtown. The Space: This home was built at the turn of the century and combined the popular federal design with aspects of antebellum and colonial styles. Beautifully kept through the years, the home still features original wood flooring, an original fireplace, and original hand-crafted crown modeling. Built on the grounds of the original Trustees’ Garden, this historic area of Savannah has played a significant role in Savannah’s history. First as an experimental garden, then as various military forts and Ironworks, and now as an incredible combination of beautiful venues. You are genuinely staying atop Savannah’s history with a stay at Trustees’ Terrace. Enter the second-floor apartment through a private staircase at the complex's front. Through the main door, enter a large foyer connecting to the kitchen and living spaces. Straight ahead enter the large galley kitchen with a complete appliance package, including small appliances, ample cabinets, plenty of counter space, and a high-top bar. The kitchen is fully prepared with everything you need to cook, including pots, pans, cooking utensils, dishware, and more. Head towards the back of the apartment, passing through your dining room with a table set for six and illuminated by large French doors leading to your private patio. The large terrace views the Trustees’ Garden and has an additional dining set for four. The living room provides a spacious and cozy place to relax at the end of the day. The living room boasts a vast, angled sectional, two original fireplace accents, oversized windows, and two chandeliers. Enjoy all your favorite streaming services on the large smart TV. The two ensuite bedrooms are situated at opposite ends of the living room. The primary ensuite provides a new king mattress wrapped in crisp linens, ample natural light from oversized windows, a smart TV, storage, and a private bathroom. The second suite provides a comfortable queen mattress with fresh linens, a smart TV, storage, and a private bathroom. The bathrooms have been freshly updated with a custom penny and subway tile, providing a pedestal sink, toilet, a shower/tub combination in one bathroom, and a low-entry shower in the second. Both bathrooms have all of the essentials, including towels, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, and a hair dryer. Are you working remotely during your stay? Our high-speed Wi-Fi supports video conferencing and multitasking.

Travel two doors down to Savannah’s oldest standing structure at the Pirate House. Walk inside the historic inn to grab delicious American eats with a pirate theme and Southern flare. Enjoy excellent dining options by heading towards the riverwalk and stopping into The Olde Pink House for fine southern dining. Grab some laid-back bites and brews at Spanky’s Pizza Galley & Saloon. Enjoy delicious southern dining with a river view at Huey’s or Vic’s on the River. Start your bar/pub tour by stopping into some staples of Savannah, including Six Pence Pub, O’Connell’s Irish Pub, or Dub’s Public House. Explore the rich history of Savannah by stopping into one of the many museums and historical sites. Getting Around: Are you driving into town? Trustees’ Terrace offers PAID on-street parking, with spaces generally available outside the unit. Please be mindful of parking signs, as parking spots rotate for street cleaning. Getting around is easy with walkable streets, bike rentals, and Uber/Lyft service. Jump on Savannah’s public transit system with the Randolph & Broughton SB just a 4-minute walk from the apartment. This free DOT trolley circulates downtown and provides ample stops at all the major attractions. Want more options? Download the city’s local version of Uber called “The Downtowner.” Simply download the app, and they will pick you up for free!

We loved our stay here with two full bed and baths within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. Communication with the host was easy and fast allowing us to utilize an early check in to enjoy more of Savannah. The pictures represent the property well and we really enjoyed the comfortable beds and walk-in closets with plenty of hangers. A fully stocked coffee bar made for great mornings. An easy 5-Star review. We would stay here again without hesitation.
The Terrace at Trustees Garden is a beautiful apartment! It was walkable to everything, parking was convenient and the neighborhood was quiet. The apartment was clean, furniture was comfortable and the included amenities were perfect. We will be back!
I stayed at this property while attending a conference that was held at the Marriott. I'm so glad I chose the property over staying in a hotel room. The location is convenient to the hotel and the rest of downtown Savannah. The apartment has lovely furnishings and decorations. The kitchen has high quality dishes, pots and pans, etc. Highly recommend.
This rental was perfect for us. LOVED that they supplied so many of the items we normally have to pack. Shampoo, soaps, detergents, trash bags etc. Location was perfect to walk around town and be at the finish line for the Marathon. Sitting on the back deck to listen to the music for the after party was perfect.
Beautiful home. We love the couch and are trying to find one similar for our home. I would suggest additional towels as we had to go to the store to purchase more for our stay.
This apartment is so lovely! It’s on the edge of the historic district but still very close and an easy walk to everything. Being on the edge of town means it is much quieter which is great for sleeping. The kitchen is well stocked to cook a meal and even has a starter supply of coffee, sugar & creamer. The living room is spacious with a very comfy couch and large TV. There is generally parking available (must feed the meter) right in front of the building which is super convenient.
