This beautiful third floor townhome includes access to a private rooftop deck, creating an ideal romantic spot to watch the sunset. You’ll feel like a true Savannahian with “front door” access to Forsyth Park, Savannah’s largest park and popular location for weddings, music and food festivals.

Enjoy a little “me time” curled up on the couch with a good book, or catching up on your favorite shows. The living room is complete with a Queen size pull-out sofa bed, a 37" flat screen tv and DVD player - plus a bonus library of DVDs for your enjoyment. The bedroom has an additional seating area to enjoy reading a book or just watching the 50” television. When it’s time to get some shut-eye, slip between the sheets of the luxurious King sized bed. Come morning, you’ll be ready for a whole new day of exploring Historic Savannah.

No matter how you start your day - perhaps with a walk to nearby Sentient Bean for coffee and a scone, or some antique shopping at Alex Raskin Antiques on Monterey Square - you’ll want to end a night (or two) on the roof, enjoying a glass of wine and your private view.

Great place!

Fantastic location with quick access to the park and nearby squares. Near a busy street so there are some noises from traffic but nothing that kept us up at night. The apartment was super clean and bed was comfortable. It had the cutest spot to sit and overlook the park. Would recommend and would stay here again.

Great Location

Terrific location, easy to get to almost anywhere in Savannah. Street parking was remarkably easy even if we had to circle around the blocks a few times. I can imagine it might be more difficult to find street parking when there are events at Forsyth.

Great Weekend Getaway

We booked this VRBO for a quick (kidless) weekend getaway, and it was perfect for that! Not too big, not too small. 2 TVs for any downtime, and a nice little kitchenette. Perfect location right at Forsyth park, and a great walk (even in the rain or cold) to tons of restaurants and bars.

Had a weekend stay in Savannah. A great central location. Only disappointment was there were no paper towels and the remote batteries were dead. Inconvenient but not a deal breaker.

Great location, cute apartment

Amazing location right on the park. We walked everywhere to enjoy dinner Friday, downtown/historic district on Saturday and then drove to check out the cemetery on the way out of town Sunday. Parking was very easy. Cozy bed. Place was as described/pictured. Rooftop terrace doesn't really have a view to speak of but nice for smokers I would imagine. (We don't.)

Forsyth Park —3rd Floor

Loved Savannah and our time there. There was plenty of room and street noise did not bother us. Parking was a breeze. Drawbacks—further from historic district and if walking to waterfront it is a trek. Bed was not as comfortable for either of us as the Lucky Savannah Gordon Street property (we preferred that location and unit), Roku limited our ability to watch livestream sports games and political debate in the evenings when we returned. Patio is for smoking—we never used it.

Step outside into Forsythe Park

Great location to park. Adjacent buildings under renovations so it is dark and quiet on block so felt a little nervous about walking safety at night. Car Traffic on street is really loud and you can hear it in bed - quiets around 1am-7am. Bed firm but comfortable with crisp clean soft linens. Small kitchenette- probably wouldnt cook full meal but good to reheat leftovers or for small snack, yogurt and fruit. Savannah coffee nice touch. Nice market and coffee shop around the corner at park. 3rd floor walk up so be prepared to carry luggage

Charming, but traffic noise all the time ruins sleep

The location is literally next to Forsythe Park so an easy walk to downtown, the river district or Enmarket Arena, but the street is super busy, even overnight and the bedroom is street side, so it is nearly impossible to get a good night sleep. No oven or full size fridge, just a microwave, dorm size fridge and 2 burner flat top range. We would have liked to properly warm our delicious restaurant leftovers. Its a 3rd foor unit...3 very long flights up. We got used to it but taking luggage up and down can be a challenge. While it was charming, we probably won't rent this one again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this rental was great-right on the park and easy walkable distance to everything. The building felt safe but the third floor climb was not ideal. The space itself was very clean, but very dark at night-not enough lighting. During the day is was great. The windows do rattle when you walk around, and the bed was hard as a rock and very uncomfortable. The bedroom windows are on the road and it’s very busy and noisy. The first day was great, second day a family with children moved in downstairs and not only could we distinctly hear spoken conversations, but the family allowed their children to run and scream up and down the halls and stairs and in the apartment. Every sound travels right up through the floor. All-in-all this was a fine stay, but keep in mind that this is a very old, dated building with steep stairs and very little sound control.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful rental in a fantastic location. Immaculate and charming with gracious rooms. Things to note: Stairs are STEEP, so try the first floor if you can't do stairs, second if you can do some stairs and while I loved the 3rd floor (roof deck, no one above me) those stairs are a lot, but i counted it as cardio. FRONT DOOR lock is tricky, ask for instructions, BEFORE you try it. Bring your own supplies, the house has 1 packet of coffee, 2 rolls of TP and they don't give you any more so BYO, stock up on necessities before you arrive. TV's are ROKU ONLY so if you don't know how that works, well you don't get to watch TV. NO CABLE TV(news etc) at all, but so many people left their Netflix and HULU accounts up you can watch whatever you like Honestly, I loved this place, it so so sweet and was SO CLEAN (big applause for cleaning lady Michelle...amazing and more helpful than rental company) but found the rental company not too smart and not very professional. If you are good on your own and don't need "help or assistance" from Lucky Savannah you'll be fine.
