"If you want a beautiful home with a private beach, this home is perfect. It has four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a full kitchen and a dining living room area. But the biggest selling point is the patio. It’s comfortable, complete with a pool and just steps from the beach. The tropical breezes and the sound of the ocean waves was amazing!This home is in San Benito which is about 30 minutes from Progreso and an hour from Merida. It’s important to rent a car so you can see all the sites. We have been to Mexico many times but never this area in the Yucatán. There are Cenotes to swim in and Mayan ruins to visit. We particularly enjoyed Mucuyche and the pink salt flats. The people of Mexico are warm and welcoming. They even tolerated our minimal Spanish. Juan, the owner and Gregorio, the caretaker were very accommodating to all of our needs. Juan gave us a list of places to visit during our time there. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone staying in the Yucatán. Thank you, Juan, for all of your help. We had a wonderful time."

"If you’re looking for where locals vacation, this is it. Roughly an hour from the Mérida airport, the hotel nails that laid-back Yucatán vibe. Mornings on the private beach, afternoons by the pool with more drinks and snacks than you can try. It’s the kind of place you go to actually unwind. Highly recommend for anyone craving a slow-paced escape. "

"What really made this hotel stand out was the incredible staff. From the moment we arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Every interaction was friendly and helpful, and they clearly take pride in making guests feel comfortable and well cared for. Their hospitality truly made the stay special. The room itself was spotless and very well equipped, showing the same level of care and attention. The hotel also has a small pool and convenient parking, which were nice touches. One of our favorite spots was the rooftop terrace. It has comfortable patio furniture and is the perfect place to relax in the evening with a glass of wine and enjoy the warm breeze. Overall, this hotel offers a clean, comfortable stay, but it’s the wonderful staff who really make it memorable. Their kindness and attentiveness are what set this place apart."

"Wonderful property, perfect for a week-long team retreat with 15 guests. Plenty of space to spread out and also areas to come together as a group. The local Samson Waters property management team (Marina and Jair) is super responsive and immediately addressed all requests. They also made several recommendations for us including activities, a caterer (Chef Ceci is awesome!), and baby furniture rental company. Great overall stay and experience!"

"Truly delightful stay. Comfortable and stylish accommodation, extraordinary terrain with historical buildings full of artistic and vintage artifacts. Secluded yet safe. with the most friendly and accommodating staff. Excellent food in the onsite restaurant. Great for walking around, where birds, iguanas and even monkeys can be spotted. Impressive seiba trees. Artisan pottery souvenirs can be purchased directly from the artist. "
