  • The house is located in the south of Spain in the heart of Andalusia, 30 minutes east of Malaga. You benefit from a very pretty sea view, you are quiet while being close to the centers of interest (beach restaurants ballads, visit of Malaga, Granada ...)
    At your disposal a very comfortable and very well fitted house. You have a superb view of the sea and the bay of Torre del Mar on one side, and the mountains on the other.
    The house is sunny all day long, 2 covered terraces with garden furniture allow you to take meals outside.
    The large garden has a private swimming pool of 8mx4m with umbrella, sun loungers, pergola with sofa.
    A very beautiful exotic garden, with palm trees, laurels, bougainvilleas, jasmine ...
    The villa is composed of 2 large bedrooms with king size beds, two bathrooms, a fully fitted kitchen (oven, hob, dishwasher, freezer, fridge) opening onto a dining room (table for 6 people) and the living room (fireplace, LCD TVwith all channels, DVD, HIFI, 2 sofas).
    Unlimited WIFI internet.
    A person takes care of pool and garden maintenance on a weekly basis.
    Everything is included in the price: the house rental, all utilities (water, electricity, gas), and end-of-stay cleaning.
    All household linens are provided: bed sheets, bath towels, and beach towels.
    The villa is fitted with gas central heating and a fireplace, ideal for stays in winter: you enjoy the Andalusian sun during the day and a comfortably heated house in the evening.
    The villa is ideally located for exploring all of Andalusia: Malaga, Nerja, Seville, Granada. The small white villages around (Algarrobo, Sayalonga, Competa ....) are typical and superb to discover. You reache the sea in 10 minutes, with beaches all over the coast, the beaches are furnished with sun loungers and parasols.
    You can taste the local food in the many beach restaurants 'chiringuito', the paella, the delicious fish cooked on plancha or wood fire. Enjoy ;))

A beautiful, well kept property with an excellent private pool with plenty of space around it. The kitchen is well equipped and a separate utility room has all you need for laundry. The surrounding roads up to the property are not for the faint hearted! But it is precisely for this reason that the villa is private and peaceful, with amazing views of the coast. Just don’t look down over the edge of the road! We would highly recommend a stay here if you want a relaxing holiday. The property is halfway between Nerja and Malaga, so if you have a hire car, (an essential for this property), you can venture out to the white villages, which are only half an hour away.

Beautiful views, wonderful villa, would come back

Very nice location, overlooking mountains and the sea, with gorgeous views. Villa itself is very spacious, nicely decorated, clean and well-equipped. Easily accessible by car. The host is very helpful and provided useful information. Would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for perfect location for their holiday.

Incredible villa, made for an amazing holiday

Spent a week here beginning of September (weather was lovely) and the villa is beyond beautiful, the pictures don't do it justice in the slightest and the view is beyond breathtaking. The road to the villa is definitely not for the faint hearted but it is so worth it! I highly recommend this villa as we had a wonderful holiday. It's perfect for privacy and the people who look after the property are lovely and friendly.

Fantastic view and a charming house!

A friendly reception and excellent information about the stay- the owner and the housekeeper where alert and gave good information! Clean house and a quite, calm environment. We had a very lovely stay and vacation! The minor minus is that the road up to the house is narrow and a bit steep, obviously, because the position at the mountainside.

Fantastic

I had a fantastic stay. Everything was excellent. The host was very friendly to communicate with. The housekeeper Miguel and his wife (??) we’re lovely. The little white cat was very sweet and everything we could need was at the house. Wish I could stay for longer.

Beautiful house and garden in a fantastic setting !

Our second stay in the house. After checking it out for a week in June 18 this time we spent four weeks and brought our two small dogs... and we loved it all four of us. The house is very spacious and well laid out, super well equipped, gives you a feeling of being at home. And the garden, pool and the views, all the way to Mijas some 60 km away, wauw ! And in addition a very attentive and friendly caretaker, Miguel. Thanks for letting us stay, we'll come back a third time, for sure !!

We had a very pleasant stay at the house. The house has a beautiful vieuw. It is well located, a good base for various excursions. Miguel,the host is a very nice and helpful person. Completely out of the way cosy house

The house is located in the hills, so expect colder temperatures and wind (we stayed in November). The view is amazing though. The kitchen is very well equipped (best I've ever had). We couldn't use the pool in November because it isn't a heated pool, but it is a decent size and looked very inviting. The wifi worked very well, even outside on the terraces. Overall it was a really nice house.

Beautiful Villa up a slightly tricky lane

Before we arrived the detail and communication we received was great, with very helpful (well needed) instructions to find the property. Beautiful villa in a very peaceful location, has everything you could possibly need and basic household items were all available from washing up liquid to hair dryers to beach chairs and brollies.The pool was lovely with a lot of outdoor space and loads of places to sit, with the most amazing view. The only downside is the challenging drive up to the villa is not for the faint hearted but ultimately leaves you in the most peaceful location with an incredible view. Would absolutely recommend!

Great home away

A great get away if you are looking for privacy, tranquility and flexibility. You’ve got all you need for a good stay - fully equipped kitchen, two tables outside, spacious living room and two bedrooms, one with a seperate bathroom&toilet. The space around the pool is really nice, the garden is well-maintained. No interactions with the other houses around (just as we wanted it). The only things I could think of that could be upgraded are the plastic tablecloths on the tables outside and some of the stuff in the kitchen (eg the knives and some of the devices). Would definitely consider to book this estate again.

Paradise!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful villa; the owner has been very helpfull and friendly throughout the bookingperiod and so was the reception at the house. We found the house very well maintained, very clean, well equipped and very, very cosy. Cream on the cake is the large and lovely garden with the beautiful pool and breathtaking view from every ancle in the garden as well as from every window in the house. The rooms are very nice and cosy, spacious too and we didn't lack anything. Kitchen and bathrooms are very comfortable and so were the beds! We fell in love with the house seeing the pictures on this site, but arriving on the spot we loved it even more. We only had a week, much too short, so we didn't take the time to go sightseeing, we preferred to spend as much time as possible at the house and the garden. Last but not least: Don't forget to put on the lights in the garden in the evening. Villa Carena is a sure beautiful home away from home: We'll be back!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison. Elle est parfaitement conçue pour des vacances en famille ou entre amis : Tout y est pratique, fonctionnel et pensé pour ne manquer de rien. Le fait qu’elle soit de plain-pied rend le séjour très confortable. L’accès est un peu étroit sur la fin, mais tout à fait réalisable, surtout avec les explications très claires données par le propriétaire, en amont. Elle est très bien située pour visiter les environs. Mais le vrai coup de cœur, c’est la vue : un panorama exceptionnel sur Torre del Mar, la mer et les montagnes, avec de splendides couchers de soleil, que ce soit depuis la terrasse ou au bord de la piscine. Un grand merci au propriétaire pour son accueil et son organisation. Tout est réuni pour passer d’excellentes vacances. Nous recommandons cette location sans hésiter.

Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war wirklich erstklassig! Wir haben sehr umfangreiche Infos vor der Anreise erhalten & Antworten auf Anfragen kamen sehr schnell. Das Haus ist sauber, verfügt über einen eigenen abgeschlossen Parkplatz, einen Pool und eine große gepflegte Außenanlage. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet und im Wirtschftsraum stehen Waschmaschine und Trockner. Die Wohnung hat auch einen Grill und einen Kamin. Alle Zimmer haben Außenrollos und Fliegengitter. Es gibt 2 Bäder. Es gibt 2 Außenbereiche mit Platz für 6 Personen zum Essen und zus. innen einen großen Esstisch.Vom Pool und vom Garten hat man sowohl Meer- als auch Bergblick. Abends zum Sonnenuntergang ein tolles Panorama! Die Straße zum Haus ist sehr steil. Ein Auto mit ausreichend PS und Bodenfreiheit ist von Vorteil. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Strand sind in ca. 15 Minuten Entfernung mit dem Auto erreichbar. Im nächsten Dorf ca. 10 Minuten entfernt, gibt es auch einen kleinen Supermarkt und einige Cafés. Vom Flughafen Malage fährt man ca. 45 Minuten.
