"This was a really nice hotel. No, its not the Ritz Carlton, but the hotel was clean, pretty quiet, the staff were super friendly and helpful, and in a great location just outside of town and super close to lots of good restaurants. The price was very reasonable and the breakfast was hot and fresh. Especially nice because it was no extra cost. I would highly recommend them."

"The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the hotel rooms need a little love. The property is convenient to Saugatuck Brewery, Downtown Douglas, and Saugatuck by the harbor. It’s a great location and a charming little hotel. The breakfast was really nice and the fact that coffee and a few snacks are available 24/7 is a nice touch. The only negative for us was the bathroom area. It was pretty dated and there’s a broken tile in the ceiling that gave us the creeps. It felt like someone could place a camera up there and watch you. It definitely needs addressed, but beyond that the room was nice. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The room is an adjoining room and we could easily hear people on the other side of the door. We heard clearly heard entire conversations, but we weren’t in the room much, so this didn’t bother us. We were in room 115 and had a view of the back of the property which is wooded, so it was nice that we didn’t have to look at the parking lot since we were on the first floor. Despite the little things that aren’t so great, we both agreed we would 100% stay here again. Check-in and checkout were super convenient."

"I really enjoyed my stay at this property. The classic vintage vibe is adorable to me, and I appreciated the original details of the house such as the kitchen sink and the windows. The location is great. The most gorgeous sunsets you’ve ever seen!! And they can be seen from your living room here! Although I recommend you go see it from the beach that is a short walk down a quiet road and a path. I had the beach entirely to myself for over two hours watching the sunset one evening. Magical! The house does not have central heating, so keep this in mind especially if you are thinking of coming here with kids. The owner had space heaters that were needed for the cool mornings in October. The owner was great about communicating; she sent check in details far in advance of the trip and there was a door code which is always nice, no keys to fool with. I found the quiet street and beach to be just what I needed."

"Cabin was clean with wonderful views with access to basics and close drive to dollar store if we needed to grab anything. Most our time was spent enjoying the river, kayaking that was within a 5 minute walk, and ability to grill and sit by the fire in the evenings. Would absolutely book again."

"The property, by far, was the nicest place that we have ever stayed. Everything was “over-the-top” and my Team had a fantastic weekend on our Team Retreat! We’d recommend it to everyone! Lots of space, Beds, Bathrooms, There were 23 of us total and plenty of room for privacy even! The kitchen is a Commercial type Kitchen for numerous Chefs to move around without bumping into each other. If there could be more than 5 stars…It'd be a Perfect 10.0! Thank you again…Michigan State University Women’s Gymnastics Team"
