Haus W - your home base in the Montafon mountains

Haus W in Schruns is a retreat to which we, too, love to return after our adventures. We’ve created our family home here in a modern Vorarlberg-style wooden building, and we enjoy the sweeping views of the surrounding mountains every day. The scent of wood fills the air, and we invite you to truly unwind and relax in the holiday apartment at Haus W. There’s plenty to discover.
The accommodation
The holiday apartment has two bedrooms and a pull-out couch in the living room/kitchen/dining room. One bedroom has a double bed measuring 160x200 cm, and the other has a bunk bed with dimensions of 140x200 cm and 90x200 cm. When all beds are occupied, the apartment can accommodate 6 people.

We’ve placed great emphasis on high-quality and natural materials. The holiday rental is equipped with everything you’ll need during your stay with us: freshly made beds, cosy towels, a ski boot dryer in the shared ski storage room, and underfloor heating. A parking space, Wi-Fi, tea towels, hair dryer, dishes and kitchen utensils, oven, dishwasher, electric kettle, raclette set, etc. In short, a fully equipped kitchen made of wood and stone.

The holiday rental is spectacularly located (almost) right next to the valley run. This also brings with it some exciting sounds, such as snow cannons making snow or snowcats preparing the valley run for the next day.
We’ve created our home base in the Montafon using modern Vorarlberg timber architecture and a great deal of handcrafted work. And we love everything that’s been created—even if it’s not always perfect. And maybe a little on the noisy side.
We also live in Haus W, along with our children, whose loud laughter you’re sure to hear. You might run into them in the ski storage room, for example, since we’re all passionate skiers. Or just ring the doorbell if you’d like to know anything—

More important information
Haus W is located in the Montafon, more specifically in Schruns. And even more precisely: within walking distance of the lift (Hochjoch Bahn/Silvretta Montafon). And with the Rätikon, the Verwall, and the Silvretta, several mountain ranges and ski areas with fantastic infrastructure are right on your doorstep. Thanks to their favourable geographic location, the Montafon mountains are the first barrier to be hit by a northwesterly flow bringing heavy precipitation—which, due to the high altitude, naturally falls as powder. These are just a few of the reasons why our home base in the Montafon is such a great choice.
