Decent hotel

Huge place that is walking distance from downtown and the train station. Clean and furnished. Check-in is easy. The only downside is that it is close to some main roads and there is some traffic noise that can be disturbing when people drive like idiots (revving engines) or play their music for people outside the car to hear. Near a huge supermarket.

The linens could be more clean, and the apartment need to be cleaner. It smelled a bit The room key turn in process but an unclear. I had to ask what I should do with the key when we were ready to leave. I never did receive a response from the call staff but instead had to rely on another guest to tell me where to drop them.

Reservierung Stadtvilla Budget 0 97 21 / 541 808 400 Als Orientierungshilfe wurde mir ein Link mit nachfolgender Information zugesandt: Rezeption: Cramerstraße 7, 97421 Schweinfurt Apartments: Luitpoldstraße 45, 97421 Schweinfurt info@s-budget.de In der Cramerstrasse angekommen, wurde ich von der Hausdame an der Rezeption informiert, dass sich die Stadtvilla in der Luitpoldstr. befindet. Ohne ihre Unterstützung wäre es auch bei Dunkelheit schwierig gewesen das Hotel zu erkennen, da an der Hausfassade von der Straße kein beleuchteter Hotelnamen, wie gebucht zu erkennen war. Noch am Abend vor der 1. Nacht wurden der Hotelleitung per E-Mail die auf den Bildern erkennbaren Missstände mitgeteilt. Leider fühlte die sich nicht berufen während meines Aufenthalts von 3 Übernachtungen eine Stellungnahme dazu abzugeben. Erst nach dem Check Out gab es eine erste Reaktion per E-Mail, in der mir erklärt wurde, dass man gerne die Probleme während meines Aufenthalts abgestellt hätte, aber meine E-Mail angeblich leider im Spam Ordner gelandet gelandet sei. Ein Gutscheinangebot für den nächsten Aufenthalt in diesem Haus habe ich dankend abgelehnt, da es keinerlei Planung gibt dieses Reiseziel zu wiederholen und selbst wenn, in Schweinfurt sicher bessere Adressen für 79,33€ / Nacht ohne Frühstück zu finden sind bei denen man sich wohler fühlt. Für Menschen die Wert auf Sicherheit legen, rate ich ebenfalls dringend ab Boardinghouse zu buchen, da die Hauseingangstür 24h offen ist!

Hallo, also mir hat die Unterkunft gut gefallen, die Ausstattung mit den ganzen Elektrogeräten war klasse. Nicht gefallen hat mir die Lage, weil das Gebäude von stark frequentierten Hauptstraßen eingeschlossen ist. Das mit den Parkmöglichkeiten finde ich auch sehr gut, allerdings sollte man für die 3 Parkplätze vorne im Eingangsbereich des Gebäudes dafür sorgen, dass die Bordsteinhöhe zum Hineinfahren reduziert wird. Für PKW-Reifen ist dieser hohe Bordstein nicht gut.

Great value, pleasant accommodation

We were in town to visit my son. Found Boardinghouse on Hotels.com. With the name budget in the title I was a little nervous as these were our last nights at the end of a wonderful week in Austria and Germany. I needn’t have worried - although simple, the suite we reserved was clean, comfortable and very spacious. We never saw anyone else in the place - reservations and key pick-up were all done via email and lockbox. So if you want a front desk, concierge and more service, probably should try another place. Recommended for simple accommodation.

Das Zimmer war schlicht eingerichtet, bot aber alles, was man brauchte. Leider besaß das Doppelbett keine durchgehende Matratze und die Lücke die deswegen entstand war durch Metallstreben sehr nervig. Ansonsten ist dieses Zimmer vollkommen ausreichend, um ein paar Tage in Schweinfurt zu verbringen.

Sehr gute Zimmer zum kleinen Preis

Das Zimmer war sehr schön. Sehr geräumig mit einem riesigen Flachbildschirm an der Wand. Bei einem Problem mit diesem Fernseher (Gast davor hatte dies total verstellt) wurde sofort reagiert obwohl es schön spät war. Frühstück war gut und ausreichend - im Haupthaus (etwas entfernt). Anstrengend war lediglich das richtige Haus und vor allem den richtigen Eingang zu finden. Schade das die Info erst auf Nachfrage kam. Wenn man Abends in einer fremden Stadt von der Arbeit kommt - ist die Sucherei anstrengend. Der Preis des Zimmers war bei der sehr guten Ausstattung sehr gering. Das Team ist noch am Anfang und wird an den Pannen der Anfangszeit lernen und wachsen :-)

Ich war an einem Seminar und mir hat die Lage vom Hotel sehr gut gefallen. Ich konnte mein Auto parken und jeweils am Morgen und Abend den Weg sehr gut zu Fuss machen :-)

Locationwise - it was in what seemed like a slightly seedy/dodgy part of town, however, the hotel was great, it was clean and spacious. Overall very satisfied!
