"We had such a wonderful time in such a relaxing and peaceful location. The cabin was comfortable and very roomy. The decor was homey and its location on the Umpqua River made it just a perfect getaway. We had a great time in the river on the kayaks and the water was perfect for swimming. The only thing we would recommend is that perhaps the owner might consider adding a floating dock so that it’s easier to get in and out of the water. But truly, we made do without it and spent a lot of time in the water. We’ll definitely be planning another vacay at this property. "
"The folks running this place are absolutely lovely people. They have made quite the effort to update these cute little A-Frames. Our stay was brief but enjoyable and we have marked it as a favorite to return to.

"Overall, the stay was awesome and we loved the house! We were here for a crabbing trip and it was a convenient distance to the boat launch. The house was clean and we LOVED the kitchen. It was well stocked with spices and cookware. The island also made for a nice social setting and the table was big enough to for us all to eat together.
The only down side was they forgot to leave us dishwasher soap and we had to handwash dishes throughout our vacation. They did allow us to leave dirty dishes in the dishwasher so we didn't have to do one load. I appreciate that. They were also stingy with garbage bags, they didn't leave us any and we had to go out and buy our own. They also didn't have instructions to use the hot tub so we had to contact Vacasa. A book of instrctions would have been nice.
Overall a wonderful stay though! Still 5 stars. "
