"We were lucky we were the only ones there. It was so incredibly quiet. There is a community area. The cabin is nice but small. We didn't find the sofa bed comfortable but someone else might.. The double bed is right up against the wall so it is easier for one to use. It is decorated cute. It is clean. The lake is just steps away..we enjoyed ourselves"

"The Brule River cabin was wonderful! It's a cozy one room cabin that was clean and comfortable. Had it's own fire pit, with wood included set next to it. Hiking trails that were just beautiful! If we would've had a little more time, we would've tried fishing. Communication with the host through vrbo was quick and responsive . We had to find someplace to stay at the last minute, and ended up finding a "diamond in the rough". Will definitely be returning."

"A great, friendly place to stay. Rooms are very clean kept up. The grounds are a peaceful setting and the walking trails are superb. Staff is great and helpful. Continental breakfast is really all out. I recommend this Motel to all!"

"Peaceful Lake GetawayOur stay here was awesome! The house is tucked back in a quiet cove on Lake Camp, and there was hardly any boat traffic during our weekend stay. It was a great location for fishing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. We forgot our life jackets, so we really appreciated that the owners had some available. They also provide two kayaks, a rowboat, and a pedal boat.The house was very clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals.There are a few opportunities for improvement. We would have enjoyed having more yard games, board games, or other activities at the house. The owners did warn us that the pavers leading from the house to the lake are loose and unstable, so be careful when using the path. I assume this may be a work in progress. Adding solar lights along the stairs and pathway would also make it easier and safer to get to the lake at night.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this property. We may even be back next year!"
