"I am very disappointed with my experience during this stay. I regularly choose this hotel specifically because of the pool, especially when travelling with my children. Unfortunately, this time the pool was closed on Wednesday, which meant that my children and I were unable to use it at all. What made the situation even more frustrating was the receptionist telling me that the pool had been open the previous day, as though I should have known to use it yesterday. That is not a reasonable response, as I booked the hotel expecting the pool to be available during my stay, not only on a particular day. If the pool was going to be closed, I would have expected to be informed in advance so that I could make an informed decision about my booking. The pool is an important reason why I choose this hotel, and having it unavailable significantly affected our stay. I would appreciate an explanation and would also like you to consider an appropriate compensation or gesture of goodwill given the inconvenience and disappointment caused. I hope you will take this complaint seriously and address the way this situation was handled"

"The hotel was clean, staff was friendly. I had an injured knee and they gave me a parking pass to park right out front of the main doors so I didn't have to walk to far. The continental breakfast was fantastic. It's our new hotel to stay at when we come to Calgary."

"The location is excellent for quick access to the mountains, and, with the freeways, easy to get downtown too. We stayed in a newly renovated room. The layout was very practical. The hot tub was nice after hiking."

"It is what it costs. Very simple and functional. The room I stayed would work best if they left a air flow before my arrival, the smell wasn't exactly pleasant. Again, you get what you pay. If you are going to Banff, the location is very convenient and easy to take the motorway 1. But the drive is indeed long and might be very fog in early hours. The house offers all you need in terms of facilities."
