Although we did not have a chance to use all the amenities the house offered, we enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and perfect for what we needed. We left something behind and was promptly notified and coordinated having it shipped which was very appreciated. Communication was excellent before, during and after our stay. Thank you.

Long weekend

The house was spacious and the bedrooms were perfect . It was nice to have different areas to hangout in. The hot tub was a great after our long days. The host responded back to us in a timely manner when we had questions.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautifully appointed and thoughtfully furnished home. Every detail was carefully considered, especially in the kitchen, which was stocked with every utensil, appliance, and cooking item one could possibly need.The home itself was exceptionally clean, spacious, and inviting, with comfortable furnishings that made it easy to relax and unwind. The neighborhood was quiet and quaint, offering a peaceful atmosphere that made our stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the hot tub, which was not only well-maintained but also incredibly soothing.The neighborhood was very quiet and quaint. The location was close proximity to many places and interests.Perhaps most impressive was the communication with the host. They were prompt, clear, and incredibly responsive throughout our entire stay, making everything seamless from start to finish.

Perfect home away from home

This home had an excellent toy supply for entertaining our granddaughter, and an extremely well supplied kitchen. We were able to enjoy our stay all week as if we were at home! Plenty of room for our multi generational family!

Friends getaway

It was wonderful for each couple to have their own bathroom and king sized bed! The hot tub was very nice, too. Easy access and a good location for our weekend plans.

Nice location, great comunication

The house was as described. Amy was great about communicating with me. Check in was easy as was checkout. The only issue, the hot water never got hot. Luke warm was the hottest we could get it.

Beautiful house and area for 4 golfers. House is clean and stocked. You basically only need your food and drinks. Highly recommended!

Very Satisfied

We were in town for my son's WMU graduation and Wing Ceremony for the School of Aviation. The house was very clean, spacious, and well organized. We loved the quiet neighborhood and beautiful views of the lake. There was plenty of space for our group. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Amy was very responsive with questions and meeting our needs. Thanks for making our weekend even more special!

Great location and wonderful house

Stayed here for our daughter's graduation from WMU which included her Wings Ceremony at the Battle Creek campus. This was the perfect location. The house had lots of rooms and was well equipped. We enjoyed grilling out, the pool table and the hot tub. Communication with the owners was quick and easy.

Great communication

We had such a great stay here visiting with our family. We had enough space and the beds were comfy too. We loved the hot tub! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed (plates, pots and pans, etc). Amy was very prompt with responding to all my inquiries and she was very helpful! Thank you Amy!

Property interior was very clean and neatly decorated. The kitchen had all necessary utensils, pots and pans etc. The gas grill worked fine and the neighborhood was quiet.. We would consider a return visit for sure!

Sisters weekend!

We had a great stay at Amy’s property. Lots of room to spread out. The hot tub is always a welcomed addition. We really enjoying being able to watch a movie all together in the tv room with enough room for the six of us. Close to mostly everything and long lake in quite the sight.

Wonderful place to gather

We had a family funeral to attend and needed a place to sleep 7 adults and host immediate family afterwards. The space was just perfect. Open concept for people to gather in small groups around the table or the living room. The basement was extra space for the younger crowd to hang out in. The bonus pool table was also a bonus add on.Our stay was just 2 nights, no cooking so can not comment on that. The bed rooms were very spacious and the bathrooms were large with plenty of showers, sinks and linens for everyone. We even enjoyed a warm night out on the deck out back. The deck view does not face the lake but that wasn't important to us.

Great place.

Great place with plenty of room to host dinners for the family we were visiting. The down stairs area was great to keep all the kids entertained. Only suggestion we would make is to install a hand rail on the stairs inside the house. It would help some of the elderly family members we had visiting. Other than that it was a great place with plenty of room. The open concept of the kitchen, dinning room, and living room was great for entertaining. The 3rd bathroom off the kitchen was also nice for guest. Awesome experience with the host and she was fantastic with communication. We plan to stay again on our next trip to Michigan.

Great place to gather as a family

We were very thankful to call this place "home" as we gathered in the area for our son's wedding. It had plenty of room and everything you would need. The neighborhood is great and the hot tub was appreciated! Unfortunately the downstairs had a wet dog smell and one of the bedrooms had not been cleaned. The bedding reeked and the guest who was supposed to stay in there chose a couch instead. Due to the cleanliness of the rest of the house, I am thinking it was perhaps an oversight. Overall, I think we would recommend to other guests, but I hope that the pet smell and attention to cleanliness could be improved.

Roomy family house

We enjoyed our stay at this house and would like to stay here again. There was plenty of room and plenty of parking. A grandniece and her family used the lower level as their "apartment" with the older folks upstairs. The large gas grill worked fine. We didn't use the hot tub, but it looks like a very nice one. There was an issue with a clogged toilet upstairs, but there were two other toilets and the owner took care of it very promptly. A very minor point: the term "lake view" is technically correct. You can see the lake. However, the view is between the houses across the street In limited somewhat by trees.

Great Option for families with kids

Plenty of space for our group of 6 (my husband and I, our daughter, son in law and 3 year old grandson and uncle). Big beds, tons of toys, books and games for kids. Two bedrooms up and two bedrooms downstairs. Great set up downstairs esp. for kids. There is a nice gas fireplace and pool table downstairs that aren't in the pictures. Kitchen was well equipped, big fridge, great deck, hot tub was tempting but we didn't get time to use. We were in town for a family wedding and it was a great location. Be aware that entry and main level have some tall steps so our elderly parents could not visit. Also don't do laundry while showering...learned that the hard way. Some hot/cold water knobs are reversed. Property manager was super responsive for questions and we would definitely stay again.

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. We were "vacationing" in this area because our son, who lives in Vicksburg, was getting married. We had 3 of our other kids (teens and adults), 3 of their friends, my parents, and my husband's mother with us. Communication with the owner was excellent even before we arrived. She was great about making sure we had enough linens for our large family, even sending someone over with extras. On the day that my son got married, the owner sent me a message, telling me that she was thinking of us and hoped we were having a great day. This is the first VRBO that we've been to that had everything we needed. I always bring extra hand soap, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, garbage bags, etc. All of this was already there for us to use, although I opted to use much of my own. The view from the front of the house (a view of the lake) was beautiful. While I wish we had closer beach access, we were able to access the lake from the boat launch or a park that was only a short drive away. The hot tub was an awesome bonus! I didn't get to use it much, but my kids enjoyed it almost every night. My husband and I love to run, and this location was perfect. We had beautiful scenery with almost no traffic at all. In summary, this was a great experience and we'd love to stay there again while visiting our son.
