This home is a fisherman's dream, conveniently located just south of Goose Pond Colony and 2 minutes from the boat ramp at Mink Creek. Great location, extremely close to boat launch! Plenty of room for our group. Host was very kind and responsive. Property was well furnished, dishes weren’t very clean (assuming left that way by last guests). Dishwasher would have been nice, as well as better secured boathouse. But it was a very well functioning rental for our two trucks, two boats, and four fishermen. Thanks!

Our hosts were superb. Communication was excellent and check-in a breeze. The home was comfortable and as described. Our plan was to bank fish and with the boat house, knew we could get out into the water a bit. Unfortunately, the lake banks are suffering from eelgrass. So a boat to get off the bank is probably necessary. However, in our quest to find a bank, we discovered a lot of great locations in the Lake Guntersville/Tennessee River area. All this to say, DoraJean’s Fishing Cabin is great… for fishermen with a boat - which is probably known to most but not this East TN group. Thanks to Kristen and Trey for your hospitality!
