Four C's by the Lake is a beautiful lakefront home located in Scottsboro, AL. Situated on Lake Guntersville which is home to the best bass fishing in the world, this location is perfect for fisherman and vacationers alike.

Great location, great dock, house had alot of room. The lake itself had alot of algea and grass growing around the dock when we were there which made it difficult to use for our boats until we cleaned it out with a take we find in garage. Even then, the boat and seadoos got clogged constantly coming in and out of our channel. They also didn't tell us there would already be a pontoon docked there taking up the best usable space out there. Would have been nice to know. House and surrounding were run down, not very clean and contained alot of personal effects that made it more cluttered. Kitchen was well equipped but very poorly organized and quite dirty. We cleaned it up and washed everything before we used it for ourselves. Outside was very overgrown but would look really nice with a little TLC. Overall the place has great potential but was missing the mark.

The property ended up being great for our family visit. We were in Scottsboro to visit our mother/ grandmother who wss extremely ill so we were close to where she was. The house was large enough to accommodate us all.It was near the restaurants as well.

Perfect spot for larger families

We had a great time here. We rarely left the property because there was so much to do. Lake time, smores in the fire pit, pool, shuffleboard, movie nights, etc. The house was clean and enough rooms for everyone. Host was very responsive to my questions. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great family time, good location, needs to be cleaned better. The tubs upstairs had to be cleaned before we could put our 9 month in for a bath. It was really hard to adjust temperature in the house.

4th Fun

We had the best time. House was perfect for all of us. Really enjoyed the dock area and screened in porch. Kitchen was well stocked with most anything you could need. Would for sure stay again.

Great location, plenty of parking

We stayed here for 10 days and the location is within 15 minutes of Goose Pond, where we fished out of most days. The parking is insane, we had 4 boats with trucks and it was a breeze. When we go back we will be staying there again. The host was great, great communication and very cordial to our needs.

Spring break fishing

We had plenty of room for our family of 13. The parking situation was ideal for fisherman. We had 2 trucks and 2 boats and 3 other vehicles and still had room for another truck and boat combo. Nice views and convenient location to grocery stores and restaurants. Friendly host and very accommodating. We will be back!

There for a Bass tment. Plenty of parking for everyone.. Well stocked plenty of room to spread out. Couple of small maintenance/cleaning issues need to be addressed. Would definitely stay again and recommend it.

We love to cook as a family and the kitchen was perfect for that! We had our family Christmas and the room with the Christmas tree was wonderful with plenty of space. Game room was great and really used by all. Thanks again!

Family Stay at Waterfront

Overall my family had a good stay. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Everything was well stocked for usage. Instructions for entering and exiting the house was very good and how to leave the house. Love that it had a family gathering room and a entertainment room. Family was able play games while watching TV and the kids enjoying themselves. The only complaints were one of the hinges on a kitchen cabinet door was loose and the door kept falling off, getting the heat to work properly for some of the rooms were a challenge. I was taken aback when I contacted the property manager, Paul Crumbley, before arrival and he was NOT very helpful when I sent a message and asked for house address and his response was very curt! I knew then that we weren't going to get any help from him. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

Family getaway

The house was clean. There were plenty of clean towels. The kitchen is well stocked with what we needed to cook with. It met most of our family’s needs. However the backyard is very steep and it was difficult for our grandchildren to play there. The dock in person is not near as nice as it looks in the photo listing. That part was disappointing.

Alabama fishing trip

Overall had a great stay at this listing. +20yrs coming down from TN to bass fish. Really enjoyed the stay. Hosts were great and the property was great for parking the trucks/boat trailers. Close to the JC park boat ramp and easy to leave the boats in at the property dock. House is nice, clean and accommodated all we needed. Up and down the hill to the dock was a chore but we were able to drive down if needed. Look forward to staying again.

Amazing property and place to stay!

We alway book a place on lake Guntersville twice a year for vacation and we would rate this stay one of the best! House is clean and comfortable with lots of extra to do! Plenty of space and great views! Only thing we encountered was that the lake was still low due to early spring and flood control which made getting to the boat dock a little challenging! We were able to use trolling motor to dock no problems! Of course this is not on the owners of the house at all, totally out of anyone’s control! Water was at winter pool! We would have no problems renting this place again! Pictures on the website site doesn’t do the house justice! It was great having multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, double laundry and living spaces! House is well equipped with everything you need to cook! Location perfect to town!

Great place on the lake!

We had such a great time here! The house is HUGE! Plenty of room if you are traveling with a large group. The lake views were fantastic and visible from most of the house. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed and more.

Amazing place to stay!

Me and my family of 9 (ages ranging from 80 down to 9months old) had a grand time staying here. The view is amazing and there’s so much space to spread out in. The beds were great quality and the facilities were nice. We would definitely stay here again!!

Family Christmas Stay

Family of 12 including Grandparents and our kids and grandkids - we had a great relaxing Christmas visit at your house. We were pleasantly surprised to find it decorated for Christmas! Not just a tree, but accents everywhere! It would be great to include that in your listing, as I brought decorations with me that were not needed. As for critique: The cookware was less abundant than the listing indicated, but we were able to work well with what was there. Also, a layout of the house would be helpful as it is unusual. And in spite of MANY pictures of fish in the listing, they were not biting during our stay. The corners and under furniture needs cleaning. But a little dust didn't dampened our fun. The small children spent a lot of time in the whirlpool tub (not a hot tub), and never ran short of hot water! The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. The house was warm once we figured out the heat from the wall unit in the den comes out the bottom instead of the top, and moved our Christmas boxes that were blocking it. The kids loved the bunk bed rooms! We enjoyed a big Christmas dinner, and we exchanged gifts, played board games, watched Christmas movies, and drank gallons of hot cocoa! Thanks so much for booking us on kind of short notice, and sharing your lake home with us! We usually only make Christmas trips as a group, but would like to stay here again sometime when the fish are more interested.
