"This is a very unique property with a friendly staff who were keen on helping their property improve in popularity. It's an older building with several challenges of repairing and maintaining the property.
The room was clean and comfortable, but it was incredibly hard to open and close the door. The older air conditioner in the wall was quite loud, but thankfully it was a cool evening, and we could open the window.
The pool was a popular "plus" for the property, with several guests enjoying the huge (and fastest slide my husband says he's ever been on!). One problem that will need to be addressed pretty soon, is the metal circular staircase leading to the top of the slide. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and would encourage the staff to keep up the good work ."
"Nice place. A little older, but neat as a pin and comfortably fit our group of 8. Very large kitchen and MASSIVE deck which gave excellent views of lake. We went over 4th of July and lake was incredibly busy that weekend. They had a fun boat parade across the lake on the 4th. The lake quieted down considerably after the 4th and it was nice. Caught walley off the dock"
"We absolutely loved the Ridgeline on Lake Poinsett! This property was the perfect setting for our bachelorette weekend and honestly exceeded every expectation we had going in. The layout is ideal for groups — plenty of space to gather, relax, and just enjoy being together without feeling crowded. The beds and bedding were genuinely some of the most comfortable we've encountered, and that came up more than once over the weekend!
The amenities are what really set this place apart. The lake bar, the screened-in porch, the hot tub, and the floating picnic table on the water made for such a unique and memorable experience. It's the kind of setup you don't find just anywhere. Location-wise, you have the best of both worlds — easy access to lake activities, restaurants, and nightlife, while still feeling like a true lakeside escape. Our only "complaint" was that we wished we'd had more time to just stay put and soak it all in.
I've already been recommending this place to everyone, and several of the ladies from our group are already making plans to come back. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful property — we can't wait to return!"
