"It was great to return to the Fairfield area. This house is in an excellent location, close to the lakes & preserves. The address now brings you directly to the driveway via gps. A few years ago that wasn’t the case. The only critters I saw in the house weren’t cringeworthy at all, a cricket & a ladybug. It would have been nice to have access to ice or even a tray that I could fill & freeze. I would definitely return again!"

"This is a lovely, quiet property and perfect for getting away from the bustling city life. Me and my spouse spent 3 days here and we would do it again without question. Between warming up on a cold night at the fire pit, star gazing, spotting deers on the property in the evenings and early mornings, we enjoyed every minute of our stay.When we checked-in, we found (what looked like the previous visitor's) used towels in the bathroom. That was a little bit of a bummer but I'm not taking down the rating just for that as it could happen to anyone once. The host assured it won't happen again and the cleaner (we ran into during checkout) was also apologetic and nice. I'm mentioning it here in case it does happen again to someone, they'll know it's a repeat incident."
