Perfect for crafting retreats or just a getaway! We offer a 2700 square foot home with 3 bedrooms with two XL twin beds, 2 bathrooms with walk-in showers, a jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom, a full-service kitchen, a dining area, a large work area for six with comfortable chairs, and a relaxing living area with outdoor seating. Washer and dryer are also available. Peaceful, quiet serene setting in the Piney Woods of East Texas.
Walk down to the waterfront for the most beautiful sunsets or a picnic. Located across from Mary King Park

Spectacular place for the eclipse!!!

Lake Cypress Retreat was the perfect place to stay and view the eclipse. The nearby lake is beautiful, and the setting is private, relaxing, and comfortable. Everything was great! Thank you!

Great as always!

Love coming here for our crafting retreat. Great setup, host is nice, property is clean. Location is peaceful - enjoyed a lovely sunset at the lake, and even saw deer in the morning. Already planning to return!

Always relaxing

Come here every year. The property is set up perfectly for a quiet, crafty retreat. Denise always checks in on the first day to make sure everything is well. Already booked my return trip next year!

Great location and excellent stay!

My family and I escaped to Lake Bob Sandlin for a getaway during these crazy times. Denise's rental was spectacular. She even left us a handwritten check-in note, along with snacks, we were very impressed. The place was clean, and stocked with water, fresh towels, extra sheets. It exceeded our expectations!

Such a great property!

My friends and I were excited to book this stay based on the pictures and description, and it did not disappoint. The workroom is set up perfectly for quilters and other crafters - has plenty of light, large work tables, cutting tables, ironing boards, and comfy chairs. And the kitchen?! Fully stocked with pots, pans, serving bowls, and appliances. Lots of small touches around the house (and the laundry room came in handy!). Location was perfect - secluded, right by the lake, but within 20 minutes of a good grocery store. The owner also checked in to make sure we had everything we needed! We've already booked a return trip.

Card-players' Paradise

Our Card Clan wanted a weekend to just play cards. It was perfectly lit and the tables were just the right size. Beds were very comfortable. We will be going there again!!!

Perfect Thanksgiving Stay

This was the perfect place for our family to relax and enjoy Thanksgiving. We were able to craft, cook, take family photos, play games, and watch Christmas movies in this comfortable, well-laid-out home. Denise is amazing- always available and attentive to our every need. She went WAY above and beyond to make sure our stay was so enjoyable. We plan to come back again. Thank you for helping us make these lasting memories with our family.

a perfect retreat

We had a hard time finding a place to sleep 5 adults last minute. We had a bachelors retreat to celebrate a milestones in my best friends life. There were no neighbors to bother with noise and plenty of room for inside games. We are a bunch of nerds so card and board games were played a lot. I would revisit this property for events in the future.
