    Recreation Passes:
    Per The Sea Ranch Association rules, we provide 2 recreation passes per rental. Each pass can accommodate up to 6 people when fully completed. If you need additional passes beyond the 2 provided, day passes are available for $5 per person, per day at the pool kiosk or the Sea Ranch Association office.

    PLEASE NOTE: After your booking is confirmed, all guests are required to complete and sign the rental agreement before arrival. Additional information and instructions will be provided after booking.

Magical Visit!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second stay at Forest House, and it was once again absolutely magical and near perfect. The home is spacious, filled with light and has everything needed for a cozy and comfortable stay. Beds are comfortable, linens are good, kitchen has absolutely everything you can think of to cook a meal, including basic supplies like olive oil, sugar, salt, and pepper. There are games and puzzles to fill rainy days, a hot tub right off the master bedroom, bluetooth speaker, television with netflix and disney+, yoga supplies, washer/dryer. I mostly enjoyed curling up with my book next to the window and reading the day away. If there was one suggestion, my kids wanted to watch TV/movies at night and although the sofa is pretty and fits the decor of the cabin, it's not terribly comfortable for lounging in front of a movie (I read in the info guide that it's imported from Europe in the 1950s). We can't wait to come back!

The home is cozy, incredibly peaceful nestled in the middle of a redwood forest. The owner's photography was exquisite and we loved the touch of having a photo guide so we could see where all the photos were taken and the backstory behind them. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, including basic spices, sugar, coffee filters, etc, there were plenty of bath towels and beach/hot tub towels, linens were nice and there were lots of spare blankets for cooler nights, nice soap in the bathrooms/showers, clean house shoes by the front door - literally everything you need for a very comfortable stay. We would love to stay here again!

We loved our week stay at Forest House and hope to return often. We hiked the most amazing trails, played golf at Sea Ranch Links, hot tubbed, wine-tasted at Annapolis Winery, cooked in a beautifully equipped kitchen, worked remotely with excellent wifi connection and dined out at The Sea Ranch Lodge. We loved everything about the Forest House and the tasteful furnishing and decor.

We would also have appreciated the host letting us know whether our security deposit was refunded without having to inquire.

It is a typical rental that sits vacant at times so yes there are a few cobwebs but nothing awful. Will definitely stay here again when we return. It barely has a peek-a-boo ocean view but that was fine with us, we were escaping the California valley heat and loved being at a higher elevation out of the sun and wind. Rental company was great!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While I tend to gravitate to homes in the meadow, this location opened my eyes to the benefit of being in the forest. The setting is exquisite, so peaceful. I will definitely return to The Forest House. It's now my number one choice! The owners have it furnished/supplied tastefully and completely. Well done! Props to the housekeeping staff for finding the garment bag I left behind on the wood pile in my haste to check out on time and to the staff for boxing it up and sending to me right away.

The living room is comfortable and the windows frame soothing green views. My partner took up residence in the window seat in a corner but there are a lot of calming restful spots in this house. The house was spotless and the kitchen very well equipped.
