Was disappointed when I landed at Logan at 9pm from London to have received a message saying that there had been an issue with my credit card and that unless I called the hotel by 6pm I'd lose my booking. When I eventually cleared customs and could make a call, I called the hotel who said there was no problem and to get my rental car and take is steady driving up and they would see me when I got there. So pleased that they kept my room, and when I arrived to check in they said there was no problem with the credit card and that the booking was fine. Don't know where the issue came from that generated the message but thankfully I had the room.
In the room it was clean and comfortable, was a little disappointed that there were only net curtains/drapes up at the ground floor window that looked right out onto the car park and footpath. I changed in the bathroom, but a blind or full set of curtains/drapes would be so much better so you can relax in your room without fear of anyone peeping in!
Breakfast was free, but a little limited and some of the food, like the danish pastry were stale. I grabbed a couple of yoghurts and muffins and some fruit and went back to my room for breakfast.
Good location for my journey between Boston and the White Mountains, NH to break the drive up after a long day and flight landing so late.
