"Wonderful stay! Roxanne and Kelly are fabulous hosts: great communication and a true desire to may our visit comfortable and fun. They recommended a boat rental place which we took advantage of to get a pontoon boat for a few days. The dock and mooring worked out great for that. And we enjoyed tubing and exploring the lake. The lake views are A. Lake water is super clean and clear. Swimming in front of the cabin was a daily event. The cottage itself is super clean and well maintained. We enjoyed daily down-time for reading and puzzles in the front room with sweeping lake views or down on the lawn in the Adirondack chairs. And of course, morning coffee sitting on the dock enjoying the peaceful lake and sounds of the loon. There are a lot of stairs to get from parking to the cottage, without a railing. No problem for us, but you may want to be aware if you have mobility issues. Location is peaceful, yet close to shopping and dining. The AC units were good on the one hot/humid night during our stay. OH, and the sunsets! Thanks Roxanne and Kelly! "
"Great property, close to local marinas for boating access. More than enough room to host families with a great pool and hot tub. Dina was quick to respond to communications during our stay."
The Lookout on Pettingill Pond - waterfront house, 5 min from Sebago Lake!
10/10 Excellent
"We enjoyed our stay. This house in a convenient location with lots of stores, restaurants and available activities nearby. The house inside was beautiful with a peaceful view of the water. The open concept livingroom, diningroom, and kitchen was ideal for our family to be able to spend time together while on vacation. "

"If you're looking for a large house, this isn't the place for you. But this place is a total gem with wonderful water views and great sleeping areas. It's also just a short walk up the hill to get to the bridge and the fabulous views of the sun setting over Sebago. It's also just minutes away from shopping in North Window and Seacoast Adventure."
Classic Maine Cabin, Private Waterfront Easy Access to Nearby Amenities
10/10 Excellent
"Camp was awesome! Lots of fun water activities right on a beautiful pond. Location was great, close to a lot of food and other activities. Went to Portland for some breweries, only a short drive. Most of the time just enjoyed the outdoors and the pond! Would absolutely stay again! "
"The kids got to swim, jump off a floating platform, kayak & canoe, fish, roast marshmallows by the fire, and help me grill dinner. If any of these is your goal then this is a fantastic place to do it. There's also rentals for boats and jetskis nearby.
The swim area is shaded starting in the afternoon. Property also included paddles for the kayaks/canoe as well as the requisite life jackets you'd need to go out. It's shared space, but we didn't have a problem finding a kayak or sharing the fire pit, deck, etc. The fishing was very good for the kids and they caught at least a dozen fish.
Ashby was very responsive when we had an issue and got us a solution quickly.
As for the downsides: As mentioned in other reviews, it is a tight spot: a small room w/ bed and couch + tiny kitchen + small bathroom, with a really nice screened porch. They gave us very nice airbeds for the kids which worked well.
The bed itself was OK but mildly aggravated an existing back problem. Lots of bugs but that is too be expected, and we didn't see any ticks the entire week we were there.
Overall fantastic spot. Perfect for us but mileage will vary depending on for what you are looking.
