"This hotel was charming! if you love history and antiques, this is the place for you. The 100+ year old elevator alone is worth booking this hotel. We had a beautiful bay facing view that was great! The room was period antique but not stuffy and the hotel owner Katie showed pride of ownership in all the details."

"Great view of the ocean! Room was comfortable and clean. Unfortunately, the pool was closed which was why we booked the hotel so no 5 stars. Also, the property was going through some renovations which we can’t wait to see. Will book again."
"Bad customer service from the higher ups, they downgraded us after finding out there is a leak in our room going to the room beneath, and they still wanted to charge me more than the full price I would’ve payed for that new room if I had booked it a month ago. Once I said I didn’t want to pay full price, they started threatening me and my partner that our things would be thrown out if we don’t pay and that we would have to vacate. We had to cancel our entire vacation and go back home, because every other place around was booked already or needed to have “time share”. There was also construction we didn’t know about that we only found out right after we couldn’t cancel the vacation anymore without a refund, which also woke us up at 8am. Wasted 6 hrs of my time being there just being on the phones and messages with them about refunds and talking about the inconveniences, but it of course it ended up with everyone unhappy.
Lady at the front desk was easy to talk to and very friendly, but sadly she didn’t have any power to help us and could only show us her empathy, by going out of her way off work to get us a goodie bag."
"Pros: Gorgeous views, very cute and cozy. Fireplace, tiny balcony with great view of the ocean. Place felt very clean. It's on the promenade, so close to the beach. There's also a gorgeous outside area to sit with chairs and Benches with good ocean views on the prom.
Cons: you have to drive to another location to get the key and sign papers. This is very frustrating, especially when getting in late. I had to call the office for the code. When I got there, the lady had the worst customer service. She was dry, flat, and just rude. I had to call again for one more thing, so mean. It's too bad, because that was our first impression of the place. Also. There is a huge hole in the sidewalk by the parking lot that is very dangerous, someone could break a leg if they stepped in it. There's an attempt to cover it, but it's not working.
4 stars for having to travel for the keys, and the dreadful service.
Overall, it was cute and clean with great views, we would stay again. "
