Seaside charm where the ocean is your front yard!


Please note: From June 15th until September 15th, we only rent by the week from Saturday to Saturday. The rest of the year we have a two-night minimum, except three-day weekends where the minimum is three nights.

Our home sits right on the Promenade in Seaside Oregon and has unobstructed panoramic views of the ocean out five large picture windows on the front of the house. Enjoy whale watching, the surfers and the vacationers walking on the Prom. The deck in the front makes it very enjoyable to sit and sunbathe or read while enjoying the beautiful ocean views.

The house has been totally remodeled with granite and marble counter tops throughout, tiled floors in some areas and hardwoods in others. The remodeling of the bathrooms even includes heated floors. We did however maintain the cozy warm feeling that a river rock fireplace at the beach brings, especially when it's stormy.

Description of bedrooms/bathrooms: On the main floor, there are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with two twins. There is one full bathroom on the main floor (tub and shower). On the upper floor, there is a large family room with a queen bed, a twin bed and a trundle bed (containing two twins). Also on the upper floor, there is a master bedroom with a queen bed and another bedroom with one twin bed. There is a full bathroom on the upper floor (shower only). The basement has no bedrooms but has a half bathroom.

In May of 2019 we remodeled the top floor of the house to accommodate a more open concept and make it a kid friendly environment. With bean bag chairs for watching movies and a 50" HDTV with a dvd player, the kids will have a ball. We also made some major modifications to the "Man Cave" and the utility room. In the "Cave" there is a 50" HDTV and a nice warm gas fireplace so the sports enthusiasts can enjoy their games in a retro-bar and then take a nap. There is also a foosball table. And there are dvd players on every floor so you can watch movies, as well as a couple of vhs players for old movies you might bring. The house is also wired, throughout the inside, so you can enjoy your music on the top floor and main floor.

The kitchen has seating at the table for at least 10-12 for those family reunions or larger groups. We also provide a high chair for the little ones.

Fam Beach Vaca

The house was great. Had a week at the beach with my family and my parents. The house had everything we needed and plenty of room to spread out. Views from the house were gorgeous! This was only matched by the direct path access to the beach! Close enough to the main down town but far enough that the beach felt private. Loved every minute!!

Wonderful Mother’s Day weekend!

We rented the house to enjoy Mother’s Day weekend with family and friends and had a blast! We will definitely be back. The beach is right outside the front door. There were enough rooms for everyone. The different levels allowed the kids to have areas to be in while adults could be in the kitchen. Everything was accurate. Easy check in and check out with great access to cooking supplies. First Oregon Coast Visit

Great place to stay and enjoy all the area’s natural beauty! We had plenty of room to spread out, beds were comfy, and the kitchen was well stocked. Loved the short walk to the beach, sound of crashing waves by which to fall asleep, and the quaint downtown to explore. Plenty of fun for all ages!

Perfect family beach retreat!

This property was perfect for our family! The ocean views and location/proximity to the beach, restaurants, shopping, and in-town activities couldn't be better. Marcie was great with communication...there were some outside repairs that needed to be done, and she was clear about what and when to expect it -- easy! This is an older home with well-done upgrades (love the heated bathroom floor!), while maintaining all the character and charm!

Amazing weekend with the beach at our front door. Made the trip to Seaside with an infant, grandparents, and dogs and the Prom House was the perfect setting for our trip. Waking up to the sights and sounds of the ocean were just wonderful.

Family Beach Weekend

The house is 3 levels which is nice to be able to spread out. The basement is nice and was a great area for the kids to play. The kitchen was well stocked. The location is right smack on the beach with an amazing ocean view from several areas of the house. It was awesome!

Spacious house on the beach

Our family spent a long weekend here in the winter, and it was a lovely get-away. The house is quite spacious and we were able to spread out - even before we found the 'man cave' in the basement. Can't be the location, either! It was a nice home base for hikes and other adventures on the Oregon coast.

We enjoyed our stay at The Prom House. Seven adults stayed at the house and four others visited with us from lunch thru dinner. There was room for all of us to visit around the large table or in the living room. The beds were comfortable, ample towels were provided (including beach towels which we didnt need), the kitchen is well stocked with cooking implements and appliances. The view of the beach and sunset is wonderful. The house and patio are great for people-watching too. The bathrooms are nicely updated with heated floors. The living room is homey and comfortable with a nice gas fireplace.

Great Place to Chill

Easy to work with the team of VROB team. Checking and out was so simple. Lots of room for sleeping. The beds are very comfortable. The house is clean and comfortable. Towels are greats Nice size table for many to sit around. AMAZING VIEWS FROM LOTS OF WINDOWS…Just an absolutely perfect vaca spot in Seaside. One recommendation is to update the appliances and dishes/cookware. Needs some good wine glasses. 🍷 Otherwise perfect.

Seaside on the Prom

Great pet friendly home for our all adult family. Perfect beach front home on the Promenade for easy access to everything. Small market and couple of restaurants close by and of course many more options an easy walk & less than a mile away. Lots of parking. Nice path to the beach. Great ocean views. Small cute fenced yard for your dog. Large table for gatherings & plenty of kitchen space. We didn’t use the basement but it’s a nice bonus area. Only thing that’s needed is the front area rug needs cleaned, otherwise clean home. Lots of bonus chairs, grill etc in the garage to use. Definitely will stay here again. We all enjoyed it here. Thanks!

Perfect House by the Beach

Instructions on getting to the house, the check in process and the helpful instructions located throughout the house were awesome! I received an email the week of our trip with printable pdf attachments that included all we needed to know for our stay. The house is clean, well stocked with blankets, pillows, towels, kitchenware, large bins for garbage and recycling, plenty of room for parking (we had 3 vehicles). An open carport area where you can either park or use for a covered space to bbq on stormy days is a nice bonus. The kitchen is fantastic! Plenty of room, a large, easy to clean table, and it's right in front of the windows for looking out at the ocean and watching people pass by with their dogs! The layout makes it easy for several people to occupy the space without feeling crowded. The living room is so cozy and my elderly parents loved it! I brought them here to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. The two bedrooms on the main floor were great for them. The heated bathroom floors were neat, too! DirecTV had all of their favorite shows to watch in the evening after walking the beach. My 2 teens loved the upstairs space. It is big enough to really spread out, and I placed our portable soft sided dog crate up there as well for our 77lb retriever/border collie mix. Everyone had plenty of room. The larger bed by the window is especially comfortable if you like squishy beds. All of the beds had plenty of coverings to stay warm, and while we didn't utilize all of the beds, the ones we did use were comfortable. There is plenty of room to unpack and relax with the closet and drawer space in each sleeping area. The views from the house are great and the beach access is perfect! My mom walks with a hiking stick and is not always steady on her feet and was able to make it out to the beach just fine. It was our dog's first time at the beach, and this house is perfect for a dog. There are 2 ways to enter the house from outside, and each entry has a little space where you can dry off and de-sand your dog. I recommend bringing old blankets or sheets to put on the furniture if your baby likes to get on, especially the big chair by the window because it is the perfect dog perch for people & dog watching. I used old (clean) moving blankets just in case Ernie was wet, it wouldn't soak through. The house is a nice walk from downtown Seaside. The house is beautiful! Would DEFINITELY come back! HIGHLY recommend.

The Perfect Spot

This house is picture perfect and the best place for a week long family reunion. Spacious and charming. We felt at home immediately and the kitchen easily accommodated the 10 of us. The unobstructed view from the armchair in the living room is stunning; a sea of grass, the ocean, and the sky. Also the views from the upstairs bedrooms are equally amazing. Communication with the host was welcoming and thorough. Honestly I can't imagine any place better.

We give this house 5 stars. Maybe others would complain because the fridge was glitchy when we arrived (since replaced). The hosts were upfront with the challenged and very concerned for our needs. It all worked out. Excellent communications and problem solving. The beds were comfy, the towels were plentiful, the games were many, varied and fun. Plenty of parking, etc, etc, etc.. we would stay again in a heartbeat. I bet during storm season the views are even more spectacular. And such a nice easy stroll to the beach!
