I too use Expedia to book reservations.Regarding your room placement, we have been sold out on multiple days these last few months, so more than likely your room was the only one available at the time of check-in. We apologize that your room view was not more pleasant and we hope that we can find you a better room option in the future.

What I liked: The hotel was clean, rooms were also clean, very modern and unique decoration. The location is very convenient to most places, Kirkland and Bellevue’s are nice areas around, very quiet and safe. A lot of things to do around. What I didn’t like it: They never said that we needed to pay for the parking. It would’ve been nice to be informed at check in time at least. But not very nice at check out without previous advice. So parking it’s not convenient. Another thing was that the T.V. Was flicking on most channels. Making this impossible to enjoy a show, movie or anything. Also not a good selection of channels. Staff was ok, not the best but not the worst. Lastly, the hot tub was out of order because of maintenance. It’s very unpleasant to find this out at the moment you’re more excited about, there at the pool entrance! If they are promoting a hot tub they should make sure to have it functioning or to advice that it won’t be working during this______ to this______ date. Breakfast was ok, not the best but not the worst.

Hello David,Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and I appreciate your patience while I replied. Paid parking is a new for us at the Hyatt House, we apologize for the lack of information regarding this, please know we have posted it on our website and other avenues so our future guests should not have any issues being made aware of this in the future. Regarding the TV, I do not see a maintenance ticket regarding this. So, I will inform my maintenance team to check out your previous room. Lastly our SPA is out of order for maintenance, and understandably if that is an amenity that you were looking forward too, we completely understand your frustration. Again, this is also a new change, within the last 20 days, so we have been trying to inform all upcoming reservations as quickly as possible. It has been posted on our website and places like expedia.com since day 2 of the maintenance, but unfortunately that information did not make it to you. Again, we do appreciate the feedback for ourselves and for future guests. Please know we would love to host you again, so we can bring you a better experience and we hope we can get that opportunity in the future. We hope that you have a great day and please let us know if there is anything else that we can do for you.

When I booked this hotel there was no charge for parking but after checkout I received the emailed receipt and was surprised to see a $15 a day parking fee. The pool needs to be refinished as the surface is sloughing off. Was disappointed the hot tub was not working. Overall we were happy with our room and loved the moody vibes of the premises. The breakfast was good and we appreciated having a store there for meds a a bottle of wine after the bar had closed.

Overall our stay was average. The room was clean and quiet. We barely heard any noise from other rooms or hallways. The main bed was comfortable, but the pull out couch was terrible. I lied down to test it out and all I could feel was all the springs jamming into my back. Luckily my kids slept on it and they're not heavy enough to notice too much, but I wouldn't recommend for an adult to sleep on it. We were 4 people staying in the room, but we were provided with only 3 towel sets and only one pillow. Maybe the front desk could communicate it better to the housekeeping staff. The hot tub was out of order, which was a major bummer, one of the reasons we chose this property was because they had a hot tub. When asked at the front desk about the tub, the front lady replied "I don't know anything about it, I just got here". The last confusion was that we were advised the parking was $15/night. When I booked this in January I'm pretty sure the ad on Expedia said parking was included, also one of the reasons we chose this property. I thought maybe I was mistaken about it as the booking confirmation doesn't mention anything about parking, but I noticed some prior guests had mentioned free parking before. I don't really care if they changed their policy, but maybe honour the previous bookings. The complementary breakfast was really good. There was a nice variety of drinks and food. The staff working there were really nice.

Met expectations with a couple exceptions: bed is on a platform base with sharp corners that extend out a bit, so both of us hit our legs on those corners several times. Condiments like tea, coffee, salt and pepper packets not all kept in stock; and room had no blanket for sofa bed. I think housekeeping needs a bit more attention to detail.

Hyatt House is a great choice for a stay in Redmond. The rooms are really good (our only observation is that the handheld shower is strangely high). Common areas in the hotel are a bit less cozy. Staff are great and helpful. We are repeat customers.

This is our go to spot now everytime we go to Seattle Area. The place is very quiet, clean, and staff are friendly. We also love the fact there's free breakfast and they serve rice!!! In a rice cooker! Highlight of our visit. Free parking is a plus as well.

This is a wonderful hotel! The housekeeping was excellent, the staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was full of many delicious hot and cold options, and the heated pool was great! I love the area around the hotel. There is a lovely river with a trail a block away. Stores and restaurants are less than a 10 minute walk away. I look forward to staying here again.

This hotel is directly across the street from my daughter's apartment complex, so it makes it convenient, and the hotel is very upscale. It is the perfect location being close to walkable trails, dining, and shopping. It is the perfect end to a beautiful day in Redmond. Don't forget to order Zeek's Pizza!
