RUN!! DO NOT BOOK HERE!!Looks can be deceiving, and this VRBO rental was by far the most HORRIBLE, FILTHY, and unsafe place I have ever stayed. From day one, the problems never stopped, and despite contacting the host multiple times daily, no meaningful assistance was ever provided. They promised help repeatedly, but no one came, and by the last day they ignored my messages.The property was in DISGUSTING, unsanitary condition. The shower curtain and bedding were stained with urine, carrying unbearable odors. One bed had ants inside it, there were barefoot prints on the bathroom floor, and trash from previous guests was left overflowing outside. I was forced to sleep on the couch instead of the beds due to filth. The infestation was severe & gnats swarmed our food, ants crawled everywhere by the hundreds, and spiders were throughout the home.The heat did not work, leaving us freezing in temperatures that felt like the 40s inside. For three days the host said help was coming, yet nothing was done, and they offered no alternatives such as portable heaters. Essential items were missing, including an iron (delivered days later), no televisions in the bedrooms, and even basic kitchen needs. Internet service, which I confirmed before booking for work purposes, was a complete dead zone and caused major disruption.The host was unresponsive, dishonest, and even attempted to force an early checkout with NO REFUNDS. I have photos and videos proving these uninhabitable conditions.
