The HollyHock Cottage - a coastal themed beach getaway

Eclectic beach themed decor welcomes guests to the cozy, quaint and freshly remodeled Hollyhock Cottage.  

This one-bedroom cottage easily sleeps 2 adults and up to 2 children.  It has a queen bed with a Serta imotion adjustable lift bed with dimmable reading lights on the wall and blackout blinds.  Turn on the reading lights, lift the adjustable bed up and enjoy a good book in bed.  Bedroom comes with plenty of pillows and a makeup nook.  Cottage is ground floor and has a full bathroom, full kitchen with oven and a full size sleeper sofa in the living room with a new 5″ memory gel mattress. Roku internet streaming with over 200 live TV channels and 1000’s of movies, board games, dvd player and books.

The bathroom includes two robes, an antique copper sink, beach towels, bath towels, bathtub and shower, Your stay includes local coffee from Long Beach Coffee Roaster, variety of coffee creamers and sugars, tea, filtered water and local Salt Water Taffy.

Have your morning coffee outside under the Gazebo next to the propane fireplace. Or relax with a glass of wine at night under the soft led fish net lights and fireplace. Flowers, local plants and birds abode the Seasonal gardens around the property. Outdoor games include cornhole and ring toss.

Blocks from the beach and in the heart of the Peninsula. Built in 1926, this cottage has a ceiling height of 6’8″. In the living room there is a 7-inch- wide ceiling beam with 6’3″ clearance.  There are a few outdoor only cameras. 

We use what we call a Boarding Pass that is sent to you after booking for all your check in information, smart lock codes, guidebooks, questions and parking information. It is your all in one guide to our property.

For Access to your cottage you must complete our Boarding Pass. It is a web link that has a verification step that will ask a few stay related questions as well as some very basic guest information and a upload of your government ID. You will need to sign a waiver/pet agreement to stay with us. If you disagree with our waiver/agreement cancel within 24 hours of booking or within the cancellation window to avoid cancellation fees.

Pet fees are $40 for 1 large dog over 30lbs or two small dogs under 30 pounds. If you want to bring two large dogs or 3 small dogs the fee is doubled.
