"Wonderful stay! Roxanne and Kelly are fabulous hosts: great communication and a true desire to may our visit comfortable and fun. They recommended a boat rental place which we took advantage of to get a pontoon boat for a few days. The dock and mooring worked out great for that. And we enjoyed tubing and exploring the lake. The lake views are A. Lake water is super clean and clear. Swimming in front of the cabin was a daily event. The cottage itself is super clean and well maintained. We enjoyed daily down-time for reading and puzzles in the front room with sweeping lake views or down on the lawn in the Adirondack chairs. And of course, morning coffee sitting on the dock enjoying the peaceful lake and sounds of the loon. There are a lot of stairs to get from parking to the cottage, without a railing. No problem for us, but you may want to be aware if you have mobility issues. Location is peaceful, yet close to shopping and dining. The AC units were good on the one hot/humid night during our stay. OH, and the sunsets! Thanks Roxanne and Kelly! "
Beautiful home on Sebago Lake Basin with expansive yard and sandy beach!
10/10 Excellent
"My wife and I, along with our two sons, daughter-in-law, one of my son’s friends, and my sister, stayed at this beautiful property on Lake Sebago and loved every moment. The house's location, right on the lake, couldn't have been more perfect. My wife and I stayed in the separate cottage, which gave us the privacy we wanted while still being close to the main house where the others stayed.
The house itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The kitchen was fully stocked, making meal prep easy. We enjoyed the open layout and the large windows that offered stunning lake views throughout the day.
One of the highlights was when my sons, daughter-in-law, and one of my son’s friends chartered a boat for fishing. They had an unforgettable time on the lake and even managed to catch a few fish. We all enjoyed the fresh catch later that day.
The lake was the centerpiece of our stay, with kayaking and relaxing by the water filling most of our days. The private dock and available water equipment were a huge bonus.
This property is perfect for families or groups who want a mix of relaxation and outdoor activities. We also explored some nearby trails and small towns, but the lake kept us happily occupied. Overall, it exceeded our expectations, and we’d love to return in the future.

"The kids got to swim, jump off a floating platform, kayak & canoe, fish, roast marshmallows by the fire, and help me grill dinner. If any of these is your goal then this is a fantastic place to do it. There's also rentals for boats and jetskis nearby.
The swim area is shaded starting in the afternoon. Property also included paddles for the kayaks/canoe as well as the requisite life jackets you'd need to go out. It's shared space, but we didn't have a problem finding a kayak or sharing the fire pit, deck, etc. The fishing was very good for the kids and they caught at least a dozen fish.
Ashby was very responsive when we had an issue and got us a solution quickly.
As for the downsides: As mentioned in other reviews, it is a tight spot: a small room w/ bed and couch + tiny kitchen + small bathroom, with a really nice screened porch. They gave us very nice airbeds for the kids which worked well.
The bed itself was OK but mildly aggravated an existing back problem. Lots of bugs but that is too be expected, and we didn't see any ticks the entire week we were there.
Overall fantastic spot. Perfect for us but mileage will vary depending on for what you are looking.
