"This property was absolutely gorgeous. The deer were beautiful, the river was soothing, and all of the troubles of civilization disappeared. The host was great and very responsive. Everything was clean and the kids had a great time being kids. Would absolutely recommend. If there was one downside, it was the odor of the water, but being that far out and dependant on well water was unavoidable. We look forward to staying again!"

"The property is maintained with attention to detail from every aspect of a historical hotel. We liked the personalized welcome card and the homemade soap and loofah.
The location is fantastic and the pub below added to our stay. My wife had a bad knee and not having the elevator was about the only negative, however I’m certain it will be ready next time we visit. Great job and meeting Joey was like a family member making sure our stay was pleasant."
Luxe Lakefront w/ Pool, Pickleball, & Private Dock
8/10 Good
"Although the property was more rundown than we hoped for, given the price point, the location and amenities were great! We had a blast on the lake every day and loved the screened in porch. The host was very communicative when we reached out about a couple of issues. The home is very quiet, close to downtown, and plenty of space.Note to guests - one of the primary bedrooms and the twin bunk room are up the winding staircase. A few of our family members were unable to comfortably traverse the stairs. This meant that I got the room with the best view, but sharing for others to be aware of. Additionally, there is no door between the downstairs primary bedroom and the slide bunk bed, so this was only practical for one family to share."
