"Excellent place. The room was remodeled, everything was new. It had coffee, clean/new towels, and the hotel is in an excellent location. Free parking and very friendly service at the lobby. The only thing I didn’t like was something they explained was not the hotel’s fault but an Expedia issue, which is where I made the reservation. There was a $200 deposit required at check-in, and I was not aware of it. This was not mentioned in the Expedia description. I only found out two days before arrival when the hotel sent me additional check-in information. The money was refunded to my account without any problem a few days after check-out, but this is something Expedia should clearly explain from the beginning."

"Nice quiet place. Starry skies. Lectures or concerts about 3-4 nights a week that are really good.Go to the flute concerts and the vortex tour —the latter by Starry Krystal includes history of Sedona, lots of info on best places to hike, and what vortex really is — not some mystical, esoteric place. Rooms were simple, clean, and property is walkable. One pool and three hot tub spas. Also free laundry for guests. Best part —- easy access to Cottonwood, Jerome, Sedona, and Red Rock state park plus nice sunrises.Helpful staff. Excellent place. One caveat: It is suggested to not agree to the Sapphire Resort presentation, even for the free or steeply discounted tour. It’s 3 wasted hours and a too-good-to-be-real sales pitch for a resort/travel membership. Research online before you go in. "
