Cleanliness IssueExterminator NEEDEDFrown upon running cleaning appliances and taking out the trash when we pay a healthy stipend for cleaning services. The house was in an exceptional location in Sedona.Thank you.
This place was our absolute favorite!! It had every amenity you could possibly need and then some. Very impressed with the house and we can’t wait to come back!
We loved this home for our base for a weeklong stay in Sedona. We cooked in every night and even did some hiking directly from the house to the Brewster trail. Highly recommended spot.
House was great! Perfect family place with access to short trail to creek. Not located where we expected from the listing, not walking distance to town but was very close by car.
We had a fantastic tine at this Sedona property. Its centrally located, yet in a very quiet neighborhood. Perfect little trail leads to Oak Creek which was fantastic for my grandsons to explore everyday! House was great, nothing bougie, which is perfect for a family holiday! Kitchen is well stocked with nice appliances and backyard is a perfect place to hang out. All beds were comfortable and TV in every bedroom. Loved it!

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Nice and clean, spacious. Great area. Thank you for everything we are grateful!
The house and property are beautiful and it had a lot of room for the kids to run around. It is right next to a path that leads to the river and the forest is beautiful. We didn’t even feel like we needed to leave. It is also near a lot of trails and a nice park for the kids.
We loved staying in this VRBO which was the anchor of all our exploring Arizona's Grand Canyon, Wolf Sanctuary, Ziplining, and the endless hiking. The house was clean, well appointed, lovely walled backyard, and comfortable. Thank you for allowing us to stay. My only ask is to be more accurate on the location in the VRBO listing.
We Loved our stay! The team at Sedona Rocks was fantastic, and the house was great! The only thing I wish was that the backyard gate was up for us as we had our pup with us.
This is a great property. We had plenty of room for seven of us plus one dog. More could easily have stayed. The location is close to everything in Sedona.
Over priced and Poorly maintained 1985 house, advertised with air conditioning, house has a swamp cooler and only 2 windows in the entire house have screens. It was 80+ in the house from noon to 8pm. Only cool part about this house was the walking distance to oak Creek. Easily the worst VRBO experience I’ve ever had.
This unique property was a great spot for a relaxing family spring break trip. While some of the decor and appliances are a bit outdated, everything was of good quality and functioning. The home was very well equipped, including nice touches like a well-stocked game cabinet & cornhole, info on local attractions, and a Red Rock parking pass. The expansive backyard is fully fenced (once you close the driveway and back gates). The patio with picnic table and porch with couches are great spots to relax with a book or over a family meal. There are a couple quirks like a tight master shower (despite the master bathroom being huge) and no recycling service. Overall it worked out wonderfully for our family - while it could use a few upgrades it was very relaxing and comfortable!
This house, while older, is a perfect place to unwind after a day of hiking in Sedona. I came here with my son and two dogs and we had a blast. The yard was huge and the house was very comfortable, though someone oddly laid out. Getting to the kitchen from anywhere in the house requires circling the whole house. Lol. Weird but not bothersome. No complaints from us in general. The beds & furniture were comfy and everything was clean. The jacuzzi bathtub was heavenly!.
We aren’t particular but there were some things that might bother others, so I’ll mention them. There was no doorknob on the front door, so if you have a pet you HAVE to deadbolt the door every time you walk outside since it’s only means of closure is the electronic lock. Also the windows do not open and the skylights were open when we arrived with.
no way to close them. Finally, there seems to be rodents living under the deck. This didn’t bother us as they were not under the house not inside, but it was evident from droppings and from the damage to the deck steps that something has been burrowing and/or driving visiting dogs crazy. Our dogs noticed it too but as we keep them on leashes when outside to keep them from eating local plant life (so they don’t get sick when we travel) they could not really get to whatever was under there.

Needs some serious love but nice central location
Unfortunately, this house was not as great as it appeared in photos and in the listing especially for the price. Recently we've stayed at rental homes for weeks at a time in San Diego (on the beach) & Flagstaff (downtown) this was the most expensive by far!! We feel like it was a complete rip off for the condition of the home, the grounds, the furnishings and amenities. A few major negatives: 1)Backyard is overgrown and in desperate need of landscaping. Patios/sidewalks are covered in ants. Main reason we chose the house was for the grounds so our small children and dog had a place to play for the week but they could not due to all the ants, long grass and the several rat/mouse traps. Rodent guys came 3x during the week to empty the traps, one of which we had to call (took 12 mins for property mngmt to answer the phone) and make the request as there was a large dead rat hanging out of the trap right by the deck where our children and dog would go by and they sent someone the next day. You couldn't even sit outside or ants would be crawling up your legs, forget eating out there! So the grounds were completely unusable. 2)Fridge has a broken ice maker door, so it was such a pain every time you opened the fridge bc the ice door swings open and the veggie drawer is broken and doesn't close. 3)Swamp cooler made the house very humid even tho we cracked the windows as instructed (no screens on the windows so bugs would come in) and the temp never seemed consistent thru out the house. It was so humid our sheets felt wet, the fridge had condensation on the outside doors, just not a cooling system we are used to. 4)Laundry room closet doors are broken and barely hanging on, they fell on me every time I did laundry but also fell on our 16 month old daughter when she walked by. A few other minor things as stated by others - awkward layout w/ kitchen in center, huge master bath but tiny toilet shower room, overall outdated and odd décor, cobwebs in and out. We would have called to report more of the issues but the one call we did make about the rat I had to wait on hold so it just wasn't worth the extra time/bother. Just for the price, I'm surprised of the condition. Some of the good things are: 1)Location, we loved that you could walk to the creek, easy drive to grocery stores, uptown, parks, hiking, Tlaquepaque. 2)Nice quiet neighborhood. 3)Well stocked kitchen even with kid dishes & crockpot. 4)Kids were obsessed w/ getting apples from all the trees!
