Le Chouette Gite - 3 Sterne Ferienhaus bis 5 Personnen im Herzen des Elsass

For your stays in the centre of Alsace, with family or friends, we offer you the countryside in the city.
Indeed, the Chouette Gîte, a completely renovated family pavilion, classified as 3* furnished, is ideally located in the heart of the coveted market garden district in Sélestat, 2 steps from the historic centre of this pretty city and a few minutes from its natural treasures (Illwald reserves, cycle paths etc...), directly on the marked route of the Green Loop (14 km discovery around and in Sélestat).
For your excursion programme, you will be 20 minutes by car from Colmar (10 minutes by train), 35 minutes by car from Strasbourg (20 minutes by train), 40 minutes from Europapark and Rulantica; you will also be 5 km from the wine route and a few kilometres from the Haut Koenigsbourg castle, the Cigoland Stork Park, the Volerie des Aigles or the Monkey Mountain. You can also make mountain getaways in the nearby Vosges or Black Forest or simply go to meet the monuments and museums of Sélestadian (churches, humanist library, bread museum, etc.) and stroll on one of the many terraces in the city centre.
For your comfort, the Chouette Gîte consists of a detached house of 120m2, surrounded by a flower garden and a lawned orchard in which it is good to stroll on summer evenings. This exterior, accessible from both the kitchen and the dining room by a large balcony, is equipped with a garden table and chairs as well as sunbeds; parasol and plancha complete this equipment.
After crossing the porch, you access a beautiful entrance which leads to the living room (sofa, armchair, large screen TV), the dining room (library, games), the new equipped kitchen (oven, induction hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, tassimo, microwave, filter coffee maker, toaster, raclette machine, hand blender, etc.) with dining area, the bathroom (Italian shower 1.60x0.90, double sink, washing machine) and a separate toilet.
A large staircase then takes you upstairs, to the sleeping area composed of a bedroom with a 1.40x1.90 bed, a bedroom with a 1.60x2.00 bed and a bedroom with a 0.90x1.90 bed. All bedrooms are equipped with bedside tables with lamps, wardrobes (wardrobe and shelves), mirrors, chair or bench and fan depending on weather conditions. A second toilet with washbasin completes this level.
The house is fully equipped with electric shutters.
For the comfort of families, all the necessary baby is available free of charge (bed, bath, changing table, high chair, stroller/pram, safety gates).
Outdoor games are also available for young and old under the responsibility of their parents (sandpit, slide, trampoline, rackets with net, football goal) as well as board games, books and puzzles.
To facilitate travel to the various places and attractions in the city, bicycles are available free of charge (without helmets); however, we do not accept any responsibility for the use of these bicycles.
The house is fully covered by WIFI.
Parking spaces are available on the property; a garage for bicycles, motorbikes or small caravan is available on site.
Out of respect for the neighbourhood, we do not want parties to be organised in the house.
Rentals will be for a minimum of 3 nights.

Rates include all bed linen (beds made on arrival), towels and kitchen towels.
Pets are not allowed.
The house is completely non-smoking.
A deposit of 300€ in cash is requested when the keys are handed over and returned on departure if everything is OK.
Arrivals are from 4 p.m. and departures no later than 10 a.m.

We live close to the Chouette Gite and are therefore available during your stay.
