  • Versalir is a STUNNING 71,5 square meter cabin that stands on a PRIVATE land in the south of ICELAND. The most perfect LOCATION from the GOLDEN CIRCLE and many AMAZING sights. The cabin Versalir is well equipped and beautifully furnished, built by its owners. It can ACCOMMODATE up to 6 people, with TWO BEDROOMS and a comfortable SLEEPING COUCH in the living room. Both rooms have a 55" TV with NETFLIX and TWO TWIN BEDS, that can be joined to make KING BEDS. The living room has a comfortable couch, a RELAXING chair, PROJECTOR for watching NETFLIX with a TWO SPEAKER home theater and a FIRE PLACE. The superb dining room seats up to six people and has a magnificent fully EQUIPPED KITCHEN. The bathroom is very spacious and has a good WARM SHOWER. Also, the deck/patio is accessible from the bathroom.

    The views all around the cabin are magnificent with MOUNTAINS stretching out in the surroundings. There's a 120 square meter private deck/patio which lies all around the cabin equipped with a cozy HOT TUB and a BBQ GRILL – Perfect for enjoying the SPECTACULAR VIEWS, STAR GAZING and catching the NORTHERN LIGHTS. Enjoying the SUNRISE and SUNSET at the deck/patio is an incredible EXPERIENCE. The cabin's deck/patio has a WHEELCHAIR ramp beside the entrance and has a FREE PARKING SPACE for up to four cars if parked properly.

We loved the cabin! The hot tub was perfect after a long day of sight seeing. The detailed hand book was great to have as well as the phone to get in and out of the gate. Having amenities such as a blow dryer was helpful to not have to pack it with us and save luggage space. The location was perfect for seclusion while still being close enough to Selfoss for easy access to groceries, gas and restaurants.

A great cottage in a great location

We had a great time at this house - it was convenient to Reykjavic, Golden Circle, Inside the Volcano, Reykjadalur hike, Selfoss and more. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our own meals and we loved the hot tub after long days hiking and exploring the area.

First stop in Iceland

This was the first property we stayed at on our trip to Iceland, we used this as a home base to explore the souther region. The views were amazing, the hot tub worked just as instructed and it was the most home feeling I’ve ever had while traveling. Would highly recommended this property for someone looking to stay close to the golden circle sites.

Located centrally in Golden Circle Area 90 minutes from Keflavík this was a great place to stay. Really enjoyed the Hot Tub, Fire Place and well provisioned kitchen!!

Versalier Cabin - A Winterdream

Very nice Cabin to visit some of the highlights in South-Iceland like Pingvellir, Gulfoss and the Geysir Strokkur.To sit in the hotpot and see the Artic Lights in the sky is really amazing.We really enjoyed our stay in this cabin.

Amazing Must Stay At Cabin

Our stay here was amazing. They had everything you would need and it felt like a home away from home. We spent many of the cool nights in the hot tub. It is far enough away from the road to enjoy the peace. But also not too far from many of the views and excursions around to make it perfect.

Cozy cabin, great location

The cabin was perfect for our stay in The Golden Circle and all the places we wanted to visit were easily accessible. The cabin was really well equipped and we cooked there every evening. The hot tub was a bonus and it was lovely to come back and relax in the evening after long days out seeing the sights. We would definitely stay here again if we returned to Iceland.

Amazing Cottage with Amazing Views

We had a wonderful time at this holiday house! It is centrally located to the Golden circle, and within an easy drive Selfoss and sights! The owners were very attentive to our needs and the house has everything you need to cook a meal, relax and just enjoy your surroundings. Highly recommend to anyone!

Icelandic Paradise!

We really enjoyed our stay at Versalir Cabin! Excellent location for day trips to many areas and in a very beautiful setting. We actually did some really cool hikes within 15-20 minutes from Versalir. Accommodations were good and comfortable, many nice amenities. We enjoyed grilling dinners with the Mountain View from the deck and having space for our family of four to enjoy.

Great Cabin and Fab Hot Tub

We had a great stay at the cabin. The pictures don't do it justice. It was very cold with lots of snow during our visit, but the cabin was lovely and warm at all times. The hot tub is very easy to use and the kitchen has lots of supplies and cooking basics. Highly recommended.

Perfect base for Iceland adventures!

We had the best 5 nights at Versalir, perfect location for adventuring around the southern part of the island - essentially an hour drive to everything you could want. The cabin is SO warm and welcoming and hosts friendly and helpful. The pictures on the listing are a little outdated - the shower room has been modernised for example, but if anything it is better than shown. Can’t wait to return!

Beautiful cabin, well equipped with everything you could possibly need. We saw the northern lights from the hot tub which was amazing and enjoyed cosy nights in watching films on the projector which was a lovely touch. Would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting a perfect base for exploring the golden circle and south coast of Iceland.
