Hi Jessica,We stayed here for one night on our Iceland trip. It was nice, clean, comfy. We had a little trouble getting into the lobby front door but we called and they helped us get in. The apartment was large and came with everything we needed. There is a foyer for your boots/shoes which is nice but there wasn't a good place to hang coats. We tried to book it for another night but it wasn't available. We would stay here again!

We are still occasionally having minor issues with the self Check in process but we are working very hard on making sure it should be smooth and easy. But there is a phone which is easy to spot in the arrival hall with info what no. to call and it is very strange that your call was answered with a recording, we have a 24 hour duty English speaking monitoring our phone number to help in case there is any issues with the self Check in. We have already looked into the matter, turned out one of the thermostats had lost contact with the heat controller hence that one apartment was a little colder than the other one. Dear Patricia, I am very sorry about this regarding the bedding. This is absolutely unacceptable on behalf of our staff to let you make the beds your selves. I will certainly take it up with my staff to make sure this will not happen again! I suspect that this is due to the fact we have one new staff member who did not realize she should have done it for you? As for the smell from the hot water, I am very sad to hear your harsh words on the 100% natural geothermal hot water. There is just a slight smell of sulfur and one gets used to it very soon (after few seconds). This is quite common in Iceland that the hot water is used straight from the ground.
