"I stayed in both the regular and the budget Ibis in Le Puy en Velay. Both were great. For the savings, I would probably stay in the budget Ibis again because it had everything I needed and it was right across from the train station. Both are convenient for touring the town or beginning the Camino."

"Excellent traditional french logis hotel & restaurant run by the second & third generation of the family who created it from the family farm and full of old farm tools and implements. Very comfortable bed though traditional bolster with huge pillow and bed covers could be replaced. Very good traditional French country restaurant with local specialities and delicious local red wine plus good indoor swimming pool and views of the lovely countryside with sheep in the fields from the window. It was a convenient location for downtown access and beginning our Chemin du Puy at the Cathedral. We can highly recommend this location and host!"

Our host Pat did everything to make two hikers comfortable; the evening meal and breakfast were superb! I highly recommend the place - and to check the rules and time for checing in."
