"I stayed here for 4 nights and had an enjoyable stay. The hotel is a little dated but it was clean and comfortable. The room was basic but served it's purpose. Where the hotel really excelled was with it's abundant French breakfast of Juice,Croissant, jam, butter, bread and hot drinks. More than enough to prepare you for the day. The dinners were amazing. Served with courtesy and plentiful. Also a nice daily variation. I would certainly reccomend this place if you are looking for...

"We can fully recommend Charnay Plaisance! The main house is beautiful (some renovation work is ongoing but is unobtrusive); our room was very comfortable; breakfast was very good; the swimming pool was fantastic and the welcome we received (from reception staff and from the owner and his wife) was very warm and friendly. "Malheureusement le prix est vraiment exagéré par rapport à l’état de la chambre - moquette tachée, sale de bain peu pratique et isolation sonore moyenne - il faut réserver les restaurants à l’avance sous peine de devoir déjeuner très tôt et souper très tard comme il n’y a rien alentour. Mérite une petite revue du concept . La piscine est chouette mais les remous et autres étaient toujours fermés lors de nos visites . On aurait aimé un apéro au bord de l’eau mais il n’y avait pas de service non...
