"We had always wanted to stay on a Tea Estate in the hills and this did not disappoint. A great tour of the estate was arranged either the Tea Estate Manager and was an excellent insight into how tea is grown and picked. Great views from the veranda. Staff most helpful."
"This place is really a special retreat. The Chef is excellent ! The Spa unfortunately is breathe-takingly expensive. And virtually of the activities that you go to a retreat like that for are extortionate.. it is a shame as it is truly a unique location "
"Umesh and Danushka of Clove Villa made our stay above and beyond what we were expecting. This was one of the best accommodations on our 2 week trip to Sri Lanka with rooms and villa hotel decorated beautifully with a fantastic peaceful pool area. The unexpected surprise were the meals as we found out Umesh was a chef who prepared the best meals we experienced on this trip. "This hotel is well situated in the city but is Spartan in the extreme.
Literally one tiny bar of soap.
Tired and damaged fittings and soft coverings.
Wifi dial-up speeds."
"We had a short stopover at Blue Mountain. The view was fantastic! The hotel invested in good quality fixtures: the rooms are spacious, the pool and garden terrace very nice and the bathroom with a view worth it. It’s overall comfortable and clean. I would rank Blue Moutain higher than most accommodations in Sri Lanka, and it would need just a bit more efficiency and attention to details to qualify for high-end.

"This is a nice little hotel in a great location. Our room was large and comfortable. Things were clean and the staff was very accommodating.
Breakfast was good. And you have your choice of a western breakfast or a Sri Lankan breakfast."

"Lovely place to spend a few nights, the private waterfall/plunge pool on the estate was wonderful, the staff were very helpful and friendly, sitting out on the verandah at sunset (or any time really) was just heavenly. The only negative for me was that meals were a bit pricey"
