"Difficulty in language is you don't speak Spanish. Had a very rude check in staff who was not entirely helpful with the room smell we raised. Despite confirming that the room did have a foul smell, they refused to change room, instead left me with option to either accept it or forgo my paid reservation and look elsewhere attitude. They send someone with a small machine that was supposed to remove the odour from the room, the staff turned this oxygen generating machine in the bathroom and left in on for such a long time, the room was filled with gas and we all had severe bout of cough and nausea. Despite that the hotel staff seemed completely nonchalant and not fit to handle customer complaint. The pre check on service communication was terrible, was offered parking at the time of booking but then no reply to my emails about parking directions or how to access it. Ended up calling them before our travel and was told that they cannot guarantee parking and we have to enquire when we drive there and check in! The only good thing was it's location, other than that extremely disappointed with the hotel and staff."

"If you are travelling by train, this is a great location. A taxi into the Roman Bridge was only $7 euro. Hotel is beautiful and very clean! Market and dining nearby. Highly recommend."

"Amazing house. Owner responsive and helpful, checkin was so straightforward, directions perfect. Definitely need a car to stay here, which we had, but not walkable to the town or shops etc.Would stay here again, setting is perfect "

"Property needs update. One elevator was down. At night there was a private function and service carts kept being rolled in & out of the lobby and main entrance which was disruptive to guests in the lounge. We recommend the breakfast buffet. Bedding was comfortable. The quality of the bathroom amenity, products was poor. Towels were thin. Not what you expect from 4* property. Staff very pleasant. "
