Great location and meet special request

Located about 600m from Seogwipo Intercity Bus Terminal and Emart, it was easy for us to get to different places of interests by public transport. Though this is a couple trip, we decided to book a larger room for greater comfort, however there was not enough space to cater for even 2 luggages. Hotel staff is limited in conversational English. We did manage to get an early check-in, which we are really grateful for after a night flight and a long bus ride from the airport. The hotel also met our request to have double pillows without additional costs. We had a low floor room with no few, but not going to complain about that. Overall value for money stay, but could lower prices of breakfast. Only negative feedback is the housekeeping - floor is not cleaned, toilet and facial tissues are not replenished, but the counter staff acted quickly.

Moldy smell in sheets / pillows

The staff were nice but the facilities were in poor condition, possibly because I went during the off-peak season. The bedding and pillowcases had a moldy / mildewy smell. When I left a note requesting that they be changed, the mildewy smell decreased with the next change of bedding but then the subsequent changes still had a mildewy smell. There were no spare pillowcase replacements available in the evening. The walls are marked up in the suite I had and some others I saw. It's not ideal for photos as the walls appear dirty. The free parking was nice and not an issue. Didn't try the food but there is a banquet hall. Overall, because of the moldy smell in the bedding I would not recommend the hotel because of health concerns.
