LAUGHING DUCK RANCH.... Canal property and just steps away from the beach!

  • Welcome to Laughing Duck Ranch! This cozy, comfortable house sits on a shared acre with 6' fence all around for privacy. This rental sits right next to a canal that offers so much wildlife! Nestle into the hot tub, grab a drink and enjoy watching the ducks, blue herons and so many more birds or sit next to the bonfire in the evenings and relax. This little neighborhood offers not just the canal but also just a half of a block walk to the Dungeness beach. Please let us know if you plan on bringing your pet. This is a pet friendly house and fenced in yard. Some small dogs may be able escape. We also offer a pet package inside the rental! *We do have a pet fee.

Thanksgiving stay

Wonderful stay. Quiet area, clean home, everything we needed was available. Laughing ducks heard in the canal when we arrived. Hot tub was awesome and view of stars at night spectacular.

We really enjoyed our stay with our two pups. October and Bob were great hosts and super friendly. Loved seeing the farm animals too. Another bonus is how close it is to Dungeness for awesome bird viewing . We will stay here again😊

Laughing Duck Ranch was a fitting name.

A great place to stay to explore the area. So many birds to watch. The house was clean and cozy. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub at sunrise, and in the evenings we watched the stars, again, from the hot tub. Perfection. Orange kitty visited daily.

Great stay in Sequim

Family of 4 stayed for two nights and had a comfortable stay. The house is well equipped in the kitchen with all the needed cooking tools and pantry basics. Laundry was great to have available as well. The beds were very comfortable and very clean. The hot tub was amazing after long days of exploring ONP.

Relaxing Getaway

We loved staying at the Laughing Duck Ranch! The farm animals next door and the ducks on the canal just made it so warm and inviting. The home was perfect, plenty of room and everything we needed. The large fenced in yard were perfect for our dogs. And there is so much to do around the area. The hosts were wonderful and very responsive. We would definitely book again if we came back to this area.

Enjoyed our stay at this property. The kitchen was well stocked. Very tidy. Access is o beach is close by but be aware houses are built right to sea wall and many had no trespass signs, but host advised it is not truly enforced. I enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Comfortable stay

I went to visit my son and I wanted a place that was that was comfortable ans quiet. I loved my 2 night stay here. It was perfect. The house is decorated so nicely and fully stocked for all your needs. The hot tub was a plus. It was nice to get init after a fullday of walking around. October, the host was very nice and even had a welcome sign for us when we arrived. I would definitely recommend staying here, you will like it.

The house and amenities were good. The neighborhood was a bit funky. Enjoyed walking to the beach access area to walk along the beachfront. It is an older home so do not expect perfection. Loved the sounds of ducks and geese flying overhead. As a bonus from the side windows we could look next door to see chickens, rosters, goats, pig, and a bunny.

Awesome place and location!

We've been to Sequim many times before. But that house's location was amazing! We were walking a lot to the beach and across the neighborhood. Also, that place is pretty close, about 13 -15 minutes away, from all of the activities, from the stores and the city center. We also appreciated all around enclosed fence that allowed out puppy to be outside a lot, just like she likes it. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed. TV with access to the movies and puzzles was also a big plus to spend nice evenings. We had an awesome time and plan to stay in October's place next time when we will be visiting Sequim. Thank you!

Wish I could stay forever!

This cute property is only about 10-15 min from town but once you get to the property it is so quiet from traffic you would have no idea. This cute 2 bedroom home is fully furnished, we only used the main bedroom which the bed was very comfortable. The hot tub was amazing to wind down for the night. You wake up to the sound of farm animals which I personally love! The property is fully fenced so it was perfect for our two dogs, there are animals on either side so my “guard” Pomeranian needed to let her presence known so just a heads up if you have dogs that bark! It is great that the home has a pet package which came in handy as we forgot both our dog water bowl and food, we were able to at least feed them the food provided that morning and replaced with what we bought for our dog the next day “Orijen”. The community is so cute to walk and the people are very friendly! We would love to come and stay again, thank you!!

This is a wonderful stay. The home is comfortable and has anything you would need, and even has thoughtful extras for your dog. It was nice and quiet and a beautiful place to unwind. Close enough to town and the Olympics for some adventuring as well. I would stay here again if we travel back to the area.
